What is best cost efficient farming strategy for Th8?

So i hav lvl 5 troops.Dragons lvl3 and Pekka lvl2.Day by day upgrades are getting expensive and i don't make much loot now.Cant keep up.My attack strategy's was using archers and gobs on abandoned bases with elixrs and pumps full of loot but now i hardly find those bases.I usually fram between 1400-1570 trophie count and i don't get much de in this trophy range.Please guide me here and tell me how can i make like a lot of loot..What troops should i use and what trophy range is best for me..Thanx

BArch, stay strictly in G2. Don't go up from mid G3 to G1 like crazy. G3 sucks for TH8 compared other ranges anyway.

I agree. G2 has all the loot for TH8. I'm barching currently in this league and I make 1-2 million gold and elixir an hour. I get lucky if I find any raid with over 500 DE.

BARCH. Raiding TH 7's storages: no spell
Raiding TH 8 storages: one rage spell and maybe a lightning
Raiding full collectors: No spell but maybe a lightning if you want 1 star
(My favorite) Raiding TH 9 anti hog bases with full storages: 2 rage and a lightning.

I am not finding good bases in G2..I spend more then 60k loot to find a base with over 300k loot and bases with over 400k loot have damn good defense.

Barch is good but only for collector raiding. BAM is also good and eventually you can get some storages also. I use in my th8 base currently 12 giants, 8 wbs and rest archers. Drop a few giants to meat shield, archers go behind. Repeat. With this army you can take collectors but can also go to storages if a proper juicy base appears.

barch with 8 Wall breakers or maybe you add some goblins! so once you break the core the goblins will do the job :)

I'm TH8 too, and i've have found that gold 3 is the best range right now for loot, especially since the boosts started, the loot has been amazing! Simple BARCH collector raids have been all thats needed.

You have to have some giants in there now things are starting to become a true challenge. It sucks to find a great loot base you can't penetrate because you just brought barch. But you can always collector raid with giants included. It's just too expensive to hit next on a base you could have hit for 250k+ if you just woulda brought some meat shield

BARCH serves great for collector raids, as they are good in wiping out perimeters

BAM is very effective in taking out few storages (not all)

combine BARCH with 8-10 giants and few spells will guarantee you get loots out of storage as well

I'm currently farming in Gold II, using the Barching strategy.
I've seen success, and the bases aren't that hard to attack.

I don't understand this notion that BARCH is only good for collector raiding -- maybe that was true at one point, but it certainly isn't since barbs and archers will team up on one section of wall. They may not be ideal for penetrating a base, but it depends on the base. Level 5 barbs and arch can make it through purple walls even without spells. Throw in the fact that maybe your opponent is upgrading some splash, and you've found the side to go in on.

BARCH isn't a matter of dumping a bunch of barbs and then archers behind them and crossing your fingers and hoping for the best. You want to let the archers clear out unprotected perimeter buildings (army camps, collectors, barracks) on the side you want to get in on if not the whole base to put you close to 50%. If a storage is in an outer chamber with on wall between you and it, it's reachable. If you're willing to rage you can penetrate the core in most layouts.

A lot of it just has to do with patience. 1-5 barbs can distract a mortar, so long as you keep that population of barbs in that spot constant, you don't have to dump stupid amounts of barbs to get the meat shield affect. The massive wave of barbs and arch should come towards the end of the battle, not the beginning, to snag that second storage and hit that 50%.

Barch with 8 WBs :) Bring rage spells for getting to those storages :rolleyes:

Barch is by far the best farming troop setup in the game. IMHO.:p

This is the most cost effective: 12 wbs + 50/50 barch. The wbs is to break thru walls to reach storages.

This is additional trick I use. Queue up 4 wizards at the end. If I am watching and raiding immediately, I cancel the wizards. If I'm away for few minutes, wizards are made for next raid. Wizard is also to help get deep into base.

For TH8, one downside is dark elixir farming. For bases with DE at center and decent defense, especially TH9 with xbows, very difficult to get to DE.

yeah gold 3 and up. i went from high gold 3 to silver 1 and silver one sucks.
