I boosted my barracks, running on just 3, I'm 36 minutes in running straight barch. No spell or BK boost, I'm at 1.54 million total resources in that time. I pre-load the barracks before raiding, so the ratios are somewhat hard to keep constant.
I always disbelieved those claims, but its more than possible.
With four barracks and using barch with minimum 100k per raid, 1.5 million gold per hour should be the least amount of gold for every 40 gems.Quote:

That was about 661k in 20mins. Extrapolate that to an hour and its 1,983,000/hr. Remove nexting costs and it likely falls to around 1,700,000 or so (approx.)
I'd say that's average. Not excellent or poor. Poor would be closer to 1 mil, excellent 3 mil +
BTW, I boost 3 barracks as well. 2 barracks of barbs (use the unboosted one for barbs + 1 boosted - barbs train faster than archers and you want less of them per attack)
This allows me to start nexting/attacking with a full army within about 3 minutes of returning to base. Boosting 4 barracks would whittle that down but I don't find it a good return on investment and also screws with my troop/barrack balancing for my army.
Goose, helpful thanks. Did you gem barracks for that haul and if so how many barracks and for how long?
So your the one stealing my resources ;) Glad someone finally proved it....I still deny the results that language doesn't affect loot but this seems conclusive.
3 barracks boosted. I usually go for the solid 2 hours. Sometimes I double down for 4 hours if loot continues to be good and I have the time. I rarely am able to do that though as I have wife/kids etc...Quote:

At TH9 I ONLY hit bases offering minimum 150k gold. When I was TH8 my standards were a bit higher at 200k minimum as loot was simply easier to find. It takes a bit of patience and dedication. Also know when to throw in the towel, sometimes I'll do 1.5 hours of boosting and loot just goes utterly dry or all I find is high-level 9/10s with it all in well-guarded storages. Stop nexting and cut out the last 30 mins of boost if you have to so you don't next it away. You won't have time to change leagues to find more loot by the time the boost ends. If I find it in all large 9/10s towards the end I tend to find a decent base to dump my barchers and get some loot back (maybe not the usual 150k) then train a loon army and go loonion for last bit of boost and storage raid for DE.
Skip the maxed TH9/10s with loot in storages unless they are using a trophy pushing base with loot hanging out in the outer layer. If they are, steal it all! I often skip large TH9/10 farmers with full storages and a juicy offer just because I know in reality there is no way barchers are getting anywhere close to that loot.
Be extremely mindful of WT and mortar levels and placement. As a barcher, those are your two biggest obstacles. Know which level mortar/WT can one-shot your archers, and which takes two, as this is most often the indicator of a successful raid.

My 2 hours were done, I watched a movie and barched. I put up 10 skull walls (finished with slightly less gold than I started) maxed my elixir. I didn't exactly keep track but in my best 1/2 hour cleared 1 mil gold. I'd just add it up mentally quickly, and the attack log kept running out so I have no way to total it all up, but the best 30 min was 1mil+ gold.
My last raid was 730k total, but the elixir part was pointless. Making that my 3rd 700k+ raid all in the last couple weeks since I started using barch. Giants and healers no longer have a place in my heart.
I wish they'd sell one hour for 5 gems, 2 hours of that much playing is a bit much.
All that on 3 barracks.
Some of those guys were really nice TH9s, and I bet one of them revenge smacks me tomorrow. I hope someone just kills my town hall so I can get a shield while they cool off.
TH8, near max, stayed around 1300 trophies for the whole thing.
Thanks mate. I am TH9 and crystal 1 so easily raidable, idle bases are rare. Do you tend to hover around gold 1/2 for maximum pushes as I assume your approach loses chunks of trophies? I find If i drop below that the hauls are generally poor
Loot at TH8 is extremely nice, I miss the days of 4-6 mil per boost session when loot was good.Quote:

Agreed. I have been playing since around Christmas. My first 100 mil GG was not completed until around May after upgrading to TH8. At that point I decided to try barching as progress was slowing. Since then (using barch almost exclusively)...Quote:

This is off a boost session about once per 2 days. I am quite busy otherwise with life/work, and my work involves a lot of highly secure/confidential financial data and so legally I cannot utilize electronic devices such as my phone at work (to continue raiding when I'm bored)
Barch doesn't really lose trophies at all in gold 3 / silver 1. In fact I intentionally cut some raids short in those 2 hours to lose trophies to try to stay around 1300. Its pretty easy to get 50% with barch, especially if you bring a BK and a couple minions. It was working around 1300 in silver 1 so I just decided to stay there.Quote:

Even unboosted, 1m gold/hour should be the benchmark.
You can also get away with raiding almost continually with two barracks boosted, plus it gives you a nice ratio of archers to barbs, allowing for archer donations.
TH8: 1 boosted barb barrack, 1 boosted archer barrack, 2 other archer barracks, minions kept at ~25
TH9: 1 boosted barb barrack, 1 boosted archer barrack, 2 other archer barracks, minions kept at ~30
Use minions sparingly and only train when less than 25/30. You'll still profit lots of DE as well as raid more frequently.
I play on a GS3... it does tell you total GG. Click the "i" icon next to your exp bar to see your profile the way others do, and you'll get the same screen I did. :)Quote:

with 2 baraks boosting you should get ~3M gold/hour.
It is definitely possible- all I did was BARCH with half my army and attack every 2-5 mins.

I say that as truth as I have some old friends that use that program which shall not be named (they are not in our clan, we don't allow the usage of such) but they sometimes struggle to make that kind of loot just due to lack of available bases.
I'm th9 a week fresh and did 3 boosted rack periods.
the first one was a major succes imho. Got 4 million gold, 3.7 mill elixir and 10k delixir.
I started at end of gold 2 and reached almost crystal. Went with 8 giants 4 wbs 2 racks of arch, 1 barb and 1 gobo.
second period was a medium succes, i was sad. Got 2 million gold, around the same elixir and some de dunno,5-6k. I farmed in gold 1 and went to crystal 3(thought bases were imba there...)
third time was a desaster!!! A huge one... Farmed only in crystal 3, I cried the whole 2 hours. Either bases with <100k res that were th10s with 1-2 infernos or 300k bases with maxed th9 or 10... I still have lvl 5 troops... I nexted for 100-200k gold... I sometimes attacked 50k bases for trophies and to justify the damn gems spent... I went to take a dump and i had to close the tablet(was at work, and people snoop around) and i got raided by 28 hogs and wizards and lvl 20 heroes for 320k gold plus 80k rearm. A huge disaster...
i dropped back to gold 1-2 and imma boost again only when I get lvl 6 troops so I can attack better targets...
My clanmates and I have been noticing C3 has been a huge waste of time and resources as of late. Don't know why, its just been junk. Lots of low-level bases in there, and nobody holding regardless. Since nobody is holding, you tend to get smashed by TH10s with L30+ heroes as you are the only tasty target. Its like C3 has turned into the popular zone for newbs some reason.Quote:

Unboosted, i.e. Using strictly no gems at all for anything, I was able to get 1.6 million gold in one hour. This isn't the best I've seen at all, as many clanmates have done quite better. Used a mostly Barch army starting at 1800, wouldnt attack anything less that 175k in full mines only, would quit as soon as I got the mine resources, and looted and dropped trophies all the way to about 1600, maybe lower before my hour was up. This was in may of this year to give a timeframe.
I boost rax frequently as I can normally only raid at night when I am free from work/life and need to maximize effectiveness.

Barch - 2 rax barbs 2 rax archers
Bam - 2 rax of each barbs/archers/minions 1 rage spell on hand so I boost SF if needing too.
I raid in Gold 1-3 go up and down as loot determines where I should be go into crystal if looking for DE. As I am working on maxing defenses/walls and finishing up elixir intensive lab upgrades/drills elixir/gold is more easily attained in Gold.
Sometimes I raid and I find plenty of collector raids which is straightforward and sometimes I don't. Even when I don't there plenty of TH8's and premie TH9's & 10's who you can barch into a couple storages just need to make sure they have enough to make it worth it.
If it's just storage raiding then BAM is pretty good at getting those second/third lvl storages depending on base setup I'm not going to be one of those guys who says I can Bam any base.
As a TH9 I can normally raid 2.5-4 million gold per boost with 2.5 being the average and 4 being the highest. The high really depends on how many nexts I have to press before finding a base that looks worthwhile. As I am boosting I don't want to spend 10 minutes looking for a juicy base because that is two raids I missed out on.
So tips are to realize what kind of day SC is giving you raiding wise either bountiful or dry and adjust your strategy.
