definition

I for one think it is ridiculous that we have troops that are designed to attack defense but they do not attack defensive units. Barbarian king Archer queen and clan castle troops have the purpose of protecting or guarding however attack units designed to attack defenses ignore them completely. This leads to Giants Hog Riders and Golems easily being taken out by a few low level archers. I honestly don't feel like stating my intire case right now so I'll just make one point. If you try to rob a bank yes you take out cameras break into the vault but you also have to take out the guards.

You need a lot more info if you want to suggest a troop

Every post you've made on here in the past half hour is downing someone else's idea, what are you talking about....they had a loose idea....I'm sure it wasn't completely planed out....that's why people can respond...maybe complete the idea? Little back and forth, no?

But if they could attack CC troops / heroes, the CC troops and heroes would be absolutely demolished. Look at the DPS of balloons and hogs: they are massive.

Giants/hogs and stuff need weaknesses: that weakness is heroes and CC troops. It should stay that way.

I agree with SkyMage....that is why it is important to use troop mixes and attack places that fit your strategy. Personally I send in waves of other troops....if say your giants are out lasting your wizards, archers, and what not, you may need to adjust your armies composition, so there are troops to take out a well positioned barb king or CC.

The fact is Gaurds are Defenses. Point blank. There is no argument you can come up with to prove otherwise. So if a troop is designed to take out defenses it sould naturally take out gaurds. Thats like goblins going after only vaults and not collectors.

There is no reasoning that a hand full of archers should be able to take out and entire army of giants. It's illogical and ridiculous.

Like everyone else said, giants hogs and balloons need weaknesses, and I would make a case that heroes and CC troops aren't defenses since they can be used on offense as well... :/ Perhaps suggesting a troops that targets CC troops and heroes would be a bit more reasonable

ArseKickerson i dont see how he is "crapping" on people's idea's. Negativity is what make forums better. Not saying positive comment's make the forums worst, but he is just helping out. Don't be so arrogant.

Try saving a handful of barbs archers or whatever else and send them when the troops come out as long as nothing is in the way (buildings) they will attack cc troops! But yeah I understand I have made the same argument! Someone hits you on the head your not going to keep walking YOUR go in to turn around and slug them!! My suggestion is to make a dark troop double as one who immediately attacks defensive troops and the king and queen! And don't ask me what kind of troop you guys can come up with a look and stats I just think there should be a troop that attacks defensive troops both flying and ground troops!!

Guys it is simple, you can use archers to take out cc troops and bk aq so why is there a arguement

I get the point that yes they can be used on attack also. But when you are being attacked they defend therefore they are at that time defense. I know how to attack and have adjusted my troops to deal with cc troops and BK and AQ but that's not the point. I know how to deal with the problem. That's not my complaint or even the issue. I titaled this thread "definition" for a reason. By definition to guard is to defend therefor they are defensive units while the base is under attack.
