Opt Out Options

The leader/co-leader of a clan needs an Opt-Out option. I have people in the clan all the time that say they cannot make scheduled war and I either have to kick them out of the clan or make them drop their rank to bottom of the screen; this really is ineffective because their rank slowly gains as they are AFK, and they are often AFK for a couple days before scheduled war, forcing me to kick them out anyway. If leads and co-leads were given this authority we could easily opt AFK members out of the war allowing us to keep valued members and not have to constantly kick and re-invite people. It would be simple, just add another option for lock out on a members name where we can choose to lock members out of the war.

My last recommendation is one I am sure has been addressed before but I will address it again because it is important. Clash of clans needs at least one more rank, 4 is very underwhelming. There needs to be something under member, like recruit. That way people can be promoted from recruit to member if they are active marking that achievement; also, Elder would be a little bit more esteemed of a rank, giving us that rank for people who go above and beyond a regular member but are not quite co-lead material. Right now I have to give people elder if they are active, and co-lead if they preform well in wars, psychologically that is a failure. There should be three psychological achievements, the day you are seen as active and given membership, the day you are seen as a war hero and made elder, and the day you are seen as a highly trusted leader and given Co-Lead.

To find if someone has posted my idea with my reasoning's and exact same thoughts on the subject would take too long. Find something else to do with your time, the reason I created my own thread is because I have my own independent thoughts on the subject that other people may not express in my way. Given that I have my own thoughts it seems much quicker and easier to just post my own thread, this right I have so this right I will exercise. Was just letting you know sir. This has been a popular idea lately and nothing about it is original. Letting people know their idea has been posted before can be quite helpful when the start seeing negative comments. I was just saying that we need the ability to have a "reserve" member list in clans.

A member can place themselves on the reserves list and not be counted for a war. During non-war, they are just like every other clan member. During war-time, they cannot request troops or donate troops, nor can any changes to reserve status be made. They also gain no war-time loot, obviously.

I think a member should be able to set themselves to this status, as well as leaders/co-leaders able to move a member to this status.

Just my independent idea. :)
