Is there a way to avoid getting matched against Asian clans?

so my stupid friend asked me to start wars at 10AM so he can have an army ready when he wakes up, so i did, and we got matched with an asian clan, they were horrible we beat them 49-14, next war, same time start, another asian clan, and we lost 42-37, it was a 15v 15 war and the asian clan 3 starred every single one of our th8s and th9s and 2 starred all our th10s, almost every replay i watched they did perfect, and they knew were all our giant bombs were, and the clan was closed from start of prep day till the end so they could not have sent a scout to our clan to screenshot our war bases, therefore we lost our win streak, so how do i avoid them, please tell me whats the best time to search??!!!! im gonna guess 2pm when they are asleep? i just dont wanna look at the clan war matchup and see "my clan vs ching chong" and then say "oh well we lost"

I am italian, fluent in english and happily run an international clan of 50: about half of us are italian (most of whom speak very little english), several americans, several singaporeans, an australian, a couple israelis, egyptians, one guy from peru, malaysians and i'm certainly forgetting some other nationalities... We go from 9 to 50 years old (i'm 37) we go from lvl 60 to 107, It's a mess but it's fun, i love it. You can find someone online any time of day, but the organisation required for wars has made what was a fun easy going clan life a bit more complicated due to different levels, different timezones etc.


one of the singapore kids (9 years old and a genius) is of chinese origin and after we got our butts kicked by a super organised chinese clan joined them to go spy on them. He found out they not only have a great strategy, but more than that made me discover what for me is the 'key' to understanding why they are so good and organized so often - a striking yet simple cultural difference: they are much more used to being unselfish team players, thinking collectively and following (good) rules and directions for the greater good of the clan and do so automatically and happily compared to us (by us i mean my messed up mixed clan in particular, but probably most of us 'westerners' in general).


this is obviously a generalization so there must be many exceptions on either side, but for my experience with my clan (we have fought several clan wars vs asian clans, lost more than we have won) i can say that most of them are compact and organized and have a much higher number of members (usually all) following whatever their strategy is, they are usually all in the same timezone so it makes it easier to organize 1st / 2nd round of attacks, they all follow directions for a common goal; whereas i am always dealing with individual misunderstanding of our strategy, knuckleheadism in repeating offensive mistakes, me 1st and not us 1st mentality.


It takes a LOT of patience and time for me and my trusted group of co-leaders to chisel our clan, but it's a great, fun challenge. But what i wanted to say is that rather than trying to avoid competing against a very well organized opponent, i think there is a great lesson to be learned.


We (meaning my clan) will never be like them nor do i want to copy them, but we can certainly pick up some 'good habits' and try implementing them. We have been doing much better since we started using their strategy. Except obviously all the italians are on frikkin vacation for all of august and too busy being hungover, snorkeling, travelling to attack who/when they're supposed to.

We just experienced the same thing in regards to them knowing where every trap was. It's up to SC to find a solution on how to stop ghosting. Maybe it's an Apple thing that can't be fixed.

I'm in a 53 win clan, for the most part we avoided Chinese clans but about a month ago we started getting Chinese clans one after another, we win some but lose many more. We have been mismatched for the past month, equal numbers on the enemy are more superior. Starting to hate Chinese clans. Last war they got the perfect score.

Seriously stop blaming that you lost because of ghosting. That will just stop you from improving. Sometimes they spy on you, sometimes the base is compact and suddenly in between 2 defenses there is an empty 2 x 4 space. erm...doesn't need ghosting/genius to figure out where the bombs are.

Just because a clan uses a different alphabet and language doesn't make them any more serious or unbeatable.

There's good, great and awful clans all over the globe. My clan has beaten way more than we've lost to them. The common thread in our victories and losses was our OWN motivation and our OWN strategy.

Totally agree. To add on, there are 4.4 Billion people in Asia, 62% of the world population. Please dont be so dumb to think that all Asians game the same way and all caspers.

And it spans the time zone of UTC+12 to UTC+2. So there isn't a single time zone that you don't find Asians awake.

Well we hated when those lvl 125 crushed us very badly with 2 stars lead!But if you look at their replays you would say Its just amazing!

Maybe you are referring to chinese, arab or japanese clans? "If you cant read it, its Asian"?

Search for war when they are all asleep

Why don't Supercell introduce a fix where they Nerf Asian clans. They could disable the chat of any clan that is well run, polite, sporting and respectful. That would stop those dastardly Asians buggers from beating us. Simples.:)
