Upgrade Hogs or Minions

Should I upgrade my hogs to 2 or my minions to 4
i have 20,893 de as of now and i want to get rid of it, so a th9 won't attack me
My king is level 2
My hogs are level 1
My minions are level 3
My valks are Level 1
My golems are level 1

Any feedback is appreciated

It's just me (probably wrong) but I've never been a fan of hog riders...If it was me I would go with minions.

I'm about a month away from TH9 and I can't wait to combine my Minions with level 6 ballons.

I would do level 2 hogs in this case, or move your king up a step, so you're closer to the ability unlocked at level 5.

King to 5. otherwise, Minions for BAM farming or eventual BALLOONIAN push/war strat.

I agree with this. Having your BK at L5 makes farming easier, which will make saving for the many dark troop upgrades you have in front of you easier. BK at L5 is also a nice advantage in war, whereas L2 hogs are just getting you one step closer to where they really get good (L4).

I don't like BAM for people that have tons of dark troop upgrades to do, as it just seems like an unnecessary waste of DE. I used pure archers and BARCH at TH8, and am still doing so at TH9.

Final answer? Get BK to L5 as soon as possible, and then turn your attention back to dark troop upgrades.

I think you should upgrade your BK. Minions are good at Lvl 3 for balloonian but that can wait. Ever since hogs have been screwed with should upgrade them but be careful. Golems and valks you shouldnt worry about at all.
