Clan wars is pretty big now, and most clans do it once or twice a week, including my clan. My clan takes way serious and we have ran into some problems along the way, and I bet many other clans have.
Have you ever started clan wars, then as soon as preparation day comes, people in your clan donate low level troops or the wrong troops? Yes, has happened to my clan too. We have had someone not long ago donate 1 level 4 barb in every clan castle so that we cannot donate dragons or wizards, which we donate in our CW castles. So heres my Idea to solve this:
Ideas:
- In your clan war clan castle, you should be able to select which troop(s) you want donating into your CW castle, this way people cant donate low level troops. You also have to select an alternate troop(s) so if non of your members can donate what troop you want, they can donate the alternate troop(s) instead.
- You may be thinking, "Yes, thats why Supercell made it so you can ditch the troops in your clan castle which the little button". Yes, this is true, but not every member in clans are active. Sometimes, you might be wanting certain members to ditch some troops so you can donate better troops, but they not online, so you cant, and by the time they online, Clan war could have started.
- This does not effect troop levels. They cannot select which level of troop you want donating to your CW castle, just the troop.
Benefits of this:
- Hoppers, trollers etc... cannot donate low level troops into peoples clan castles.
- Members of your clan know what troops to train so that they can donate to CW castles.
I like to donate troops into CW castles and I like to know what troops I should train instead of just training any troops then it turns out no one wants that troop.
- Doesn't effect anything major in Clan Wars or the game itself.
If you don't like this Idea, fair enough, But please do not comment with something like "urgh stupid Idea, just shut up and get of the forums". Just say something like "I do not agree with this Idea, Sorry" or "I don't like this Idea, sorry".
