Nobody does clan wars for the loot...

because it gives a group a goal to achieve and everybody has to play their part, and because the more you do it, the more perfect your attack and defense technique will be.

if it wasnt for war i'd probably stop playing or at least play much much less.

i play this game not to farm, but because i like to see people fail on my base and i like to wreck other people's bases. war is perfect for this. i constantly have to analyze new ways to defend and attack.

meanwhile i farm to improve my ability to do these things, but farming itself gives me very little satisfaction.

It's a easy (as in no annoying 'nexting') place to get gold/DE and serves as a elixir sink for me to spend half a million on war donations

I make 800k gold each war for 2 attack. That is 400k gold per attack.

That's as good as farming.

Plus my attacking skills are improving each day.

Now if my crazy Pekka could go where I want her to go. She is sleeping on the sofa a lot those days :)

It involves a lot of teamwork and no individual can dominate. Also these wars lead to lot of interesting chat and interesting twists in the game.

It's not as good as farming... 800k in 2 days.... most farmers can get that in 1 hour minimum.

People in my clan who try to farm in Clan Wars end up kicking rocks.

i like the bonus loot in clan wars....;)
