And if you see the planks advertised and you can get them you don't feel good? and on the opposite, if you see the wheat advertised but you find the cake was gone too you still will feel generous? my point is that I think when you get something good (planks, bolts or even just some crop that you need desperately) you will be happy regardless is advertised or not.

about the nails issue you mention, you have a new ad every 5 min. if I want to sell any sem or bem I just make an ad on that and in 5 min I'll make another with other more regular things I want to sell. (and I don't want a cap on ad too)

If ads are not restricted to a unique item at a time, people often tend to choose to place ads on boring and hard-to-sell stuff. And if that's the case, no matter how SC regulates the number of egg ads per issue, the DD would still end up with mostly egg ads (because people tend to choose to advertise those boring stuff if there is no restriction in place). Before this trick was fixed, placing egg ads certainly would not draw me to that farm, since I always skip those kinds of ad without bothering to look what else there are behind them. But now that we can no longer use this trick, I guess I have to look into those egg ads. (but not before I ask my fellow neighbors for the item)

This fix is lame, what's the point in playing now . Definately stopping now no point when you are at a higher level theres nothing else to do.:mad:

Ok, you can have your own DD issue full of wheat ads, waiting for you to go into each of them and check out if there is any surprise hidden behind. But I and I'm sure there are many other players out there who would prefer a DD with lots of good ads (and with them, good stuff). Just imagine a DD with each page having at least 3-4 different items in comparison to a dead-boring DD with mostly eggs/wheat ads.

Not a cap on what we can advertise, but a cap on the number of ads on the same item!

Like many others, I am very unhappy with this decision. It actually made sense that different parts of the world had different farms advertising in their "local" paper so I didn't realize it was unintentional. I won't rehash most of what has already been said, but competition for rare items was stiff enough as it was.
Please, for the love of farmers, return this to its original state!

We have one device that seems buggier than the other.

1. The BUG. I start playing, get a dd, do some shopping, play some more, new dd arrives. Leave the game come back in after doing something else and the original dd is back (not the last one i had before I left the game).
At this point any farms I visited before instead of being greyed out are now white again, however when I touch them I don't go there, nothing happens. Then nothing I can do with resepect to restarting the ap gets rid of this buggy newspaper and it doesn't refresh. MY father reported it was two hours an his hadn't refreshed. This isn't playabe.

2. Gameplay. I get a dd, wait three seconds for the farm I choose to load and what do I find, most things sold, I wait two seconds while the next farm loads only to find the same, minutes go by and it gets worse. There is NOTHING to buy except wheat and eggs and the occasional item of clothing. I understand and fully support needing to stop automated second hand software farms from operating. But this has stopped your regular customers from finding fun in the game. I love your game but I am not spending time and cash to feel frustrated when I know what it could be like.

I sincerely hope you find a different way of stopping the automated farm problem and bring back a newspaper that is refreshable.

I also won't rehash everything here, but this is my official complaint about the change. Like everyone else, getting a new newspaper was an exciting part of the game. SC you need to put it back the way it was. As a frequent player and occasional diamond purchaser, I feel that this is reason enough to take my time and money elsewhere.

im not playing much anymore either, only going into the game once every 8 hours to refill the sewing machine.

I'm posting again to emphasize just how much this decision has effected my enjoyment of the game. After playing for a few hours this afternoon, my objections are stronger than ever. Every single stand I visit is sold out of everything but wheat and eggs regardless of what was originally advertised. I have not been able to purchase a single needed item.

What's especially disturbing is the arrogance of making a fundamental change to the game with no explanation other than the fatuous statement on Facebook that they had "fixed" something that was, in fact, the feature of the game that made it unique. Ultimately they're answerable to the people who paid them a couple billion dollars and if the revenue starts to fall, they may be forced into restoring the game to its past form. It's pretty much impossible to increase anything at upper levels without self generated refreshes, so one would guess that as interest drops off revenue would follow.

It might not be all bad - in the hours I didn't play Hay Day today, I discovered some new alternatives that seem a lot fresher. I've played regularly, like two or three hours a day, for a couple years now, but after ten minutes with the "new" Hay Day, will not return until it's clear that the game has become playable again.
