I want th9 but know I need more time at th8

Hi guys i started my clash adventure in the last Thursday of December and have put in about $250 of gems in the game in mid may i upgraded foe a 85% max th7 meaning i needed about 30 lvl7 walls my airdefense needed another lvl and I had lvl2 teslas now i really want th9 but i dont know what I should do at th8 still im not gonna get max teslas or airdefense i know for sure but what should i do and how many lvl8 walls should i have before th9 I'm guessing about 140
so with that being said how much longer do I have here if i only do farmin and not maxing out following (mines,pumps,my other dark barrack,only getting one more barrack to pekka and lastly I'm not gonna upgrade my pekka to 2 or drag to 3.)
Also assuming i get my all my ad to lvl5 all cannons to9 and 2 to 10 all archers to 9 all wiz to 5 and one to 6 all tesla to 3 and 2 more morTar to 6 how long do u think I have including getting more lvl8 walls *note im very active raid on average 10-20 times a day and have school

It would help for some tips but as I said not planning on maxing everything.

Walls are not everything. Lv 7 walls are easy, and your defenses are still TH7 level. You still got a lot of TH8 work to do.

Hi OP, I'm actually curious at what you spent your $250 on. I'm askin' cuz I'm a TH8 myself and I've been playin since April 10th this year. I'm level 75 with full Lvl 7 walls and 20 odd Lvl 8 walls. I've only spent $20 for my last builder though.

I've currently maxed my splash and are workin on my point defences. I'm not sure what you meant by veryy active, because I don't think I'm close to being really active and I probably raid 300-400 times a season, so I'm puzzled with ur progress. No offence tho, cuz I'm really curious where your $250 went to.

In any case, if you can raid at least $2-3m gold per day, I reckon you can make the switch up to th9, I see u have maxed camps. Your farming troops should be at least lvl 5 too, cuz that's the only mitigating factor if you choose to rush your TH. You need a strong offence (max camps + max troops) to get more loot den what your defence loses.

I would however get the Air defences to Lvl 5 and Wizard towers to Lvl 6. If you're not gonna max ur point defences, at least get your cannons and archers to 9 and your teslas to 4 or 5.

It would be good if u maxed ur walls though, but if you don't, get 'em to 7 at least.

You need more time only at TH 9 and not a level town hall below. Not only TH 9 has 2 levels of walls to work out, but also new hero along with 30 levels. Plus all the upgrades are like, a week each.

So, if you want to go to TH 9, go ahead.

You still have alot of time as a th8. You should get at least lvl 7 walls and then max your defenses and elixer.

I probally spent about 25 when I was th6 to get walls and up my motars and wizard towers then 100$ for tg7 witch went to dark barracks dark elixer storage troops and a wiz tower and a motar and spell factory and the rest for th8

Thanks for all the advice ill happily take more but for now im gonna try and get as much done and by the end of August then buy a nice big itunes card for th9

If you have spent $250 in gems, why do you only have 4 builders?

*Edit- also none of your splash dmg is maxed (mortar, wiz tower, AD), you still need a lot of time at TH8

Because I never need another builders and most went to elixer upgrades and dark elixer upgrades

Bro... You still have A LOT of work to do on th8. Were the same level and i just finshed upgrading from th7. I don't plan on upgrading to th9 for at least after christmas. I suggest you do the same.

It would help for some tips but as I said not planning on maxing everything.

If you don't intend of maxing TH8 I would probably suggest not maxing your walls to skulls and instead invest the gold you were going to use to upgrade your walls with to upgrade your air defence/teslas.

But then again whether or not you upgrade your Air defence and teslas, I think should be based on your participation in clan wars and trophy level. If you are in a clan that does war a lot then I would suggest maxing those defences because mass drags and GoWiPe will be some of the main attack strategies that will be employed in the short to midterm (until something gets nerfed or something new comes along) and you will need upgraded air defence against Dragons and tesla's against Pekka's.

If you don't want to maintain a high trophy range where you won't be exposed to many of these attacks and you don't have to go to clan wars much then go for TH9 (but to be fair raiding between Gold 2 and crystal 2 I have yet to encounter these attacks though my clan mates have). With regards to your pekka and dragon upgrade, that's entirely up to you and what you attack with, and as long as you are having fun and success raiding with what you have then great.

If on the other hand you do intend on using those in the future, the 10 day wait for either upgrade and 22 day wait if you want to get level 3 pekka's can be a long a painful process to wait for.

Yes but you barley have any lvl7 walls if i were to raid u i would 3 star u even with lvl9 point defenses (basically th8 lvls)
