Balloon minions video guide

I have learnt a lot from the generous contributors in the forum and even more from my clan, Nakama Union and Nakama CK.

Since I had learnt a lot, I decide to give back to the public as well. Below are 2 guides I created a few weeks back for our clan members to help them out in clan wars if they are using balloons minions.

thats cool strategy. i wanna use ballon and minions. but my ballon still lvl 4 and minions in lv2. and i think i cant play like that

Get the Balloons to lv 6 as soon as possible then. Even Lv 5 balloons are not as potent. As for minions, lv 3 is good enough as they are used for clearing up.

Try them on weaker TH9 first to get the hang of it.

This videos are taken after the heroes updates so they work fine.

My loons are level 5 and minions level 2, it's still a pretty good strategy.

Is the last rage spell you use on heroes necessary?? Also can this be done on th 9 ?? I have level 6 loon and lev 5 minion and 220 camp space. Also, what do you think best to have in cc and what troop can kill the enemy cc troop fast ??

4 spells are enough. TH9 can use this strategy. Just with 4 less balloons(20 less space compared to TH10), you got a smaller margin for error so you need to be more precise. This strategy works especially well against TH9 anti hog designs since you can guess how the balloons will go pretty accurately.

I always have balloons in my CC.

As for killing CC, always use barb to lure them to corner rather than using minions. Barb is take up only one space and walk slower. Minions use 2 spaces so they are a waste to use just to lure to corner.

If dragon come out from CC, lure to corner first. Then drop a balloon to attract its attention. Then send 6-7 minions to surround the dragon to take it down while it focus on the balloon decoy.

If archers come out, use balloon drop to kill it after you bunch them up.

If wizzy come out, use balloon drop as above.

if witch come out, just kill them with minions after lure them to corner.

So as you see, there is no need to have special troops to kill the CC. Just use your balloons and minions will do. Just be quick and not waste too much time. To 3 star, you need to be fast.

Thanks for the detailed answer. Very appreciate it. But how can you manage the balloon will drop exactly above the troop ?

Balloons always fly towards the nearest defense. So just lure the enemy CC troops to a corner. drop your balloon very near to them in such a way that it will fly over them when it move towards the nearest defense. This takes practise to get it right.

Nice raids! Could you tell me what comp I should use for ur type of looning with 200 spaces and 220 spaces as well as 3 and 4 spell capacities?
