TH9 GOWIWI or GOWIPE?

I am a newer TH9 and thinking about one of these two for clan wars.

Troops are as follows

Wizards 5
Wall breakers 5
Pekka 1
Golems 1
Witches 1
Rage maxed
heal maxed
king 10
Queen 8


Going after mid lev and a little higher TH9s can either of these work for three stars? If not which troops should I start upgrading first and what lev do that need to be. Not trying to two star as I can do that with giants, healers and wizards now.

You will have to get lucky to 3 star with troops that level.

I use GoWiWiPe a lot and its a for sure 2 star on Th9 and Th10. Getting that 3rd star is usually luck due to poor AI with golems. They like to smack useless walls after the core is wiped. Leaves yer dps high and dry with no tanks.

Personally, I would upgrade Pekka to max then witches. Save Golems for last as even level 1 are often the last troops alive.

edit - get queen to 10 while lab is on Pekka.

Tbh.... Start with gowipe to get use to golem's AI system and wall breaker. If you are advanced, you can try gowiwi but witch isnt very effective at lvl1. After doing all the fancy stuff and upgrading, go for wiwipe.

The most important thing to do is upgrade your PEKKAs and Heroes. There have been so many 90% two star war attacks that would've been three stars if my heroes hadn't died earlier on.

As a TH8 I never needed or used any DE troops or the PE all my other troops and all my def buildings were maxed even now all my reg elixer troops but the pekka are maxed and I can two star most TH9's with giants healer wizards. I will get them all maxed as fast as I can!

You're going to need maxed Pekka to get three stars.

Alright Pekka headed to lev 3 in 22 days by then my queen will be 10 and I will start the witch.

I had the same issue, rushed Laboratory like a noob I had pekka lvl1 too at end of th8.

Did:

BARCH to 6

Pekka to 2

Pekka to 3

Golem to 2

Golem to 3

Jump Spell to 2


and started using GoWiPe. I'll GoWiWi and finally GoWiWiPe when Witches will be maxed out






My GoWiPe comp as TH9:

2 Golems

4 PEKKAs

11 Wizards

Few WBs depending

Few Archers depending

1x Lightning for CC

1x Jump Spell

2x Rage Spells

Clan castle: Wizards

I think gowipe makes the most sense based on DE resource management. Get those heroes as high as you can get them. I use Gowipe regularly. Farming = 1 golemn and 4 pekkas.

Everything is maxed for a TH9 (lvl 4 golemns included).

I say they have helped me the most get some big 3 stars in CW. lvl 3 pekka is a must before taking on the big boys as well as a timely lvl 2 jump spell and rage for the core.

Honestly, if you have your dragons upgraded at all I'd use those damn near every war attack over lvl 1 pekkas/golems.
