TH8 Base building project - Care to join me?

Hello fellow clashers! I have an idea for designing a base. I have been wanting to make my own base for TH8 for awhile, and have been constantly playing around on the base edit feature many times and with little success. I felt like I was always missing something. So I just thought, why not work on a base with someone else? Maybe even multiple people. After all, two heads are better than one!

So, what kind of base was I thinking of making? Well, since it is hard to make a trophy base even at TH8, I was looking towards more of a farming base. Would anyone be interesting in working with me and with other people in making the best farming base yet for TH8?

Some key questions that will have to be talked over I will list below:

What would be included in the core?

Would the base rely on funneling or AI?

What resources would be protected the most?

Sounds good, I'm an experienced townhall 8 and have made many farming/trophy bases. I tend to rely on troop AI and some funnelling.

Nice, I feel the same way. It would be really fun to try and create a semi-function labyrinth.

Also, how do you guys feel about trap via spawn hole bases? I have some fun success with such bases as of late :D

Someone should start off with a base core, then we all take that and add some stuff to it and upload it here, and we all do that until it's finished :D

I don't see how this is going to work. Just post your unfinished base layout and let us criticize the sh it out of it

If you don't know how to create a base that defends well and works, then you don't have a right to criticize.

Aight so the clan castle is going in the core, that's a no-brainer. I think that the de should also be in the core because of its high value, as an easily accessible de storage is likely to get you raided. As for defenses in the core, I think not so much, as they would act as giant magnets and allow ground troops access to the de storage.
But then we have to think, what else should be in the core, and what should the entire size and shape of the core be?

Any thoughts?

Maybe bk? And traps perhaps?

edit: and thumper I like your idea lets all come to a consensus on a core there proceed from there
