You can casually raid every once in a while for 5 months like I did, or go hardcore mode boosting Barracks 24/7 and get it done in a week. Your choice.
When I Saw The Video On Sub 200 Farming...About 4 Weeks Ago..I Couldn't Believe My Eye Sockets,Literally! But...My Clan Had 37 Members And Were A VERY Frequent War Clan So I Thought It Wasn't A Good Idea To Drop. I Told My Leader And He Said He Wanted To Try,He Dropped To 18 Trophies And Said He Found 0 Loot...Only Easy 10K Gold Raids..So He Came Back Up To Silver 2.. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW IF THIS STILL WORKS!!

Yes, skull walls are stronkg. I farmed them for 3 weeks and some days in the 1500-2199 range when I was still a TH8.
I suggest boosting your barracks and using the BAM strategy. It trains extremely quickly and is overall a good farming composition. Your trophy range should be in 1800-2000 for optimal loot. I just finished getting my walls to level 8 as a town hall 9 and am moving on to level 9. It is worth it in the end just persist.
