Most bases I see posted on the forums for clan war bases are anti hog bases. I don't think these are as relevant anymore as I rarely see a hog attack, even on non anti hog bases due to risk of double giant bomb and central heroes. Some common attacks I see as a town hall 9 are balloonian, gowipe/wiwi, and mass drags. I was wondering if anyone has a base that defends these styles of attacks well and if they could share with me. Please, please, please make a base with no double bomb traps! I've used hogs for 3* every war since the update as people thought that no one would use hogs anymore... they are wrong.
I'm not saying you should use a ringus or anything, I'm just saying be sure that you leave plenty of gaps in your base where double GiB may be in order to deter hoggers such as myself.

As soon as you make a base that isn't pretty hog tight you will get hammered by hogs. Everyone still has them and looks for a chance to use them.
No base can defend against every comp so you have to decide how to minimize 2/3 stars against most of them.
You kind of pick yer own poison because a good attacker will always use the base weaknesses to their advantage.
