TH 8 Anti drag bases

I repelled a TH9 L3 Dragon attack last war as a TH8 using the base mentioned earlier.. They get 50% dmg one star but I think barching can do that as well. It works and of course gowipe or secret ops ballon/hawg dragon attacks could get over one star but I'm still waiting to see these ninja attacks flourish.

Hmm, not bad but I don't really see how it's anti hog. Very compact with little inside spacing leaving no room to guess really where the giant bombs are. CC also lureable from the bottom via one hog, and all it takes is another hog or two testing for traps (as the bottom right DGB is easily recognizable, top right space, etc). After that it's pretty much a clean wipe with bacon if they pull CC as they should.

Central Ads pretty hard to reach and good for drags though I suppose. As long as they don't manage to get to the center and rage, cleaning out your TH and ads. Lvl 4 AD's in that video aren't stopping mass lvl 3 enraged drags all too easy either so better hope they are upgraded or lvl 6 to be honest.

Sure it works for some people, and possibly one of the better hall 8's I've seen...but not anti-hog, and you can't really anti hog well as a hall 8 anyway. Also depends on how upgraded of a hall 8 they are as I don't see this base working out all too well with low lvl AD's and non-maxed archer towers/teslas.

It looks good but doesnt really work.
Against dragons:Nicely tucked AD's in core triangulated with storages to tank but things are too tight so attacking from one side with a line of drags, a rage heal combo at storages and then the dragons head straight to the core for AD's.Last rage at tanky TH and its gets 3 starred.This is from my past experience of this base on defense as well as attacks(lvl 5 Ad's in both case vs lvl 2/3 dragons).
Against dragons, you'd want a base with similar layout but the storages and other building(mines,pumps etc)should be 2 tiles away from the AD's. This creaters a sort of anti dragon ring making dragons go around the base instead of going into core for ADs.
Against Hogs: Th8's really cant defend against hogs due to lack of core defenses like xbow...but its still a good try. Might work against unexperience hoggers. You can defend sometimes against hogs by making them run into giant bombs but the above base has perfectly 3 empty spots.So an experienced hogger will probably activate it before starting his main attack/heal them at that spot.
But overall a solid design :)
