Combo to farm de storage at TH8?

Hi guys... right now, I've tried to barch with a rage spell (can do about one raid out of two with the spell in fact)

so i use 8wb.. rest filled with 2 rax of barb and 2 rax of archer... going one side... sending rage so troops can take de storage in the core... not always efficient but mostly

I've tried yesterday raiding with about 18giants, 6wb, rest archers... doing good.. again it's not always full efficient...

I'm now nearly max and still got another rax to upgrade... (Currently with 3 too... so only one remaining and will probably do it right after the third one finish his upgrade)

So I was wondering what were your army combo (and fast trainning too) to raid for dark?

I have one and a half day to finish my research (pekka lvl3) and I'd like to be able to train my golem (for GoWiPe) and I have like about 35k de right now...
I'd like to have your advices on layout protecting dark at th8 and army comp to do de storage raid...

I find BAM really effective. But I slightly modify it. I train the following:
24 Minions
50 Barbarians
70 Archers
6 Wallbreakers
4 Giants

I use the giants to tank when under heavy fire, if you were wondering.

You shouldn't BAM if you are farming DE, it's counterproductive. BAM should be only for Gold and Elixir storage raids. Barch is definitely good, maybe try a healing spell as well to have your barbs live under the mortar fire. I personally run with 10 WB 80 barb 100 archers and I got a decent amount of DE on days that I'm farming it. Generally helps to be in the right trophy range too, usually 1900-2100 is good (bonus DE for wins too)

i use BAG with rage and its awesome

1 rax barbs
2 rax archers
1 rax gobs

i have 10-16 wbs on standby if i need to get into a storage and generally need around 5-8 wbs for a decent storage raid

gobs are great cause they go straight for the loot

and yes upgrade the rage spell!

It takes 55 mins to train all of it (mabye not what ur looking for:/ ) its 16 wizards, 16 gaints and 4 healers. It can tear a th8 base up! It is very effective in waves not all out.... But I was able to lvl my barb king from 5-10 in 1 week 😄

Agreed with BAG. Goblins are doing great on resources.

Giants are good. About 10. They are faster to cook that Archers, you know. (1 second faster / hs)

Wallbreakers are the slow dudes... I cook wallbreakers overnight... (its that bad)

You could try BAM. it burns only a few de and i go for raids above 1k de each. and since its so quick to train i can easily get 3-4 raids in. I take lightning with me so that if i find a snipe with above 2.5k de i lightning it lol.

But im th 9.
when i was th 8 what i did was Use Giants archers goblins wall breakers.
takes hardly 30 mins to train, if you set the barracks. but the actual time is less because you will have it training when you're raiding.
I take about 12-15 giants. some 30 archers. 10 wall breakers. and the rest gobs. with rage and heal spell. I would use the spells if the storage is hard to get to, but i usually dont do those types of raids, its easy to find bases which offer 1k plus de with storages behind first 2 layers of walls. take the outside collectors with archers, giants, wall breakers, spam those gobs. easy de!.
However this strategy won't gain u any trophies so beware of that. I usually sniped when my army was training, helped pass the time too lol.

i'm gonna try with a rax of goblins too...

right now since I only have 3 barracks, I do 5-6 giants + 2 wb on each rax... and rest archer... i'll send in one filled with gobs to see if it's better... sometimes I'm like half the storage taken... then my archer don't deploy right on it and spread and get killed by mortar shot....

those fast and nasty gobs should help... (my only remaining troops to upgrade on regular elix...)

a couple wiz
and goblins

You'll wanna hit bases with low or non central/spread apart splash damage.
