Why wait 20 hours when your clan is ready to war. Put a button in each warring leaders war TH or CC that will negate the timer for prep day as long as both warring clans are ready. As an after thought put a surrender button as well that will go active after say 12 hours. By then you should know if you can catch up or even come close.
Idea# 1 - The larger the clan, the harder it is to have everyone ready. Some clans are international. What if the leader decides the clan is ready when it is not? What if a few had some upgrades that they needed to rearrange? What if they were waiting on an upgrade to finish? What if they had planned to change their base after they got off work/school? What if they didn't like the clan troops they were given, dumped them AFTER the leader had checked? So now they go into war without defensive troops?Quote:

Idea# 2 - No. You went to war and must suffer the consequences. The opposing clan has the right to their loot and booty. Once a commanding lead has been established, many will take their second attack and 1 star the highest level they can for maximum loot. That is their right that they've earned by demolishing your clan. Shouldn't be taken away because you want to give up.
I see your point but it's up to a good leader to make sure everyone is ready before pushing the READY BUTTON. It could even be put in everyone's attacking TH or CC that way each clan has to have 100% on each side to begin.

Good luck with that. Sometimes I don't even realize a war is going on until there's about 4 hours left on the timer on Prep day. Some of us have jobs, many of you will be going back to school soon.
I have a job as well 60 - 80 hours a week and 6 kids as well. Time is what ya make of it and if all don't hit their button then guess what... Nothing changes. It's still 24 hours to war but to have the option is the point.

Most clans with decent memberships will never be able to get everyone to hit ready from both sides. I dont think I've been to war where everyone on my clan or the opposing clan attacked. Which means at least one person from every war was inactive. When is the last time you've seen, from both sides, every single person attack? Rarely if it happens.
What that means is, the system wouldn't work the way you imagine and the time to create this system just doesn't justify it.
