The best way to get Dark Elixir?

Currently I use 3 lvl 5 lightning spells on DE storages with over 1.5k in them, this gets me about 700 DE. I also use a farming army if I see a base which has decent DE which I can take. Are there any better methods out there which I can use? (Also I have no lack of elixir due to all elixir based upgrades/research being maxed, I'm townhall 8)

Giant-healer + a couple Heals to get into DE storages worked fine for TH 8. I won't be that serious with DE farming until TH 9 tho.
