Anti-hog still necessary for pushing TH9s?

Hey all,
So back before the update any TH9 pushing past crystal would have to make an anti-hog base in an attempt to gain a couple of defence wins.

Now I've decided to push up to C1/masters, would I need to make an anti-hog base or would any trophy base do?

I think the key for a TH 9 to push through Master is attacking. Base design matters little.

Yeh I know that attacking is going to be my main source if trophies, but I'm currently farming in gold 1 and was wondering if an anti-hog base is advised for getting me trophies up until crystal 2-1

During my push to champs, i have been hogged until mid 2900s. So yes, it's necessary.

Modify your anti-hog base with centralized air defs and x-bows targeting air/ground, that should be enough for defensive wins (if that might happen). I used that for pushing through master too (TH 9).

Just remember, hogs don't die. They just wait... and will come for anyone reckless enough not to use anti-hog base. And when they hit, they do hit hard.
