Two months later has anyone seen someone with the third star on the feed mill?
Here's another bummer about the feed mills: until you get that third mastery level, it is mathematically impossible to make enough feed to keep all your animals fed, if you have a full complement of animals and if you choose to harvest them all as fast as you can.
My solution to this problem is to try to keep them both running all of the time. I have expanded the queue length to 9 (the maximum), and I fill up with goat food overnight. This tactic doesn't keep them going absolutely all of the time, but it is the best I can do. The good news: feed sells really fast at the store, and lets you use up the excess short crops that you want to grow lots of anyway (for the experience points).

I have the second mastery, and after doing the maths last week, at my current rate of production, will get the third in approx 100 days..!!!
John.
does anyone have a picture of how a feed mill with star look like? must be quite glamorous looking lol
My figures are 3620/5880 hrs, which still leaves 2260 hrs to complete...!!! 2 mills at say 20 hrs max per day = 56.5 days... All figures approx before someone fussy jumps in... Lol. I think we both have only 4 full masteries to complete now...
The hardest/longest ones being the feed mills, jewellers, candy machine, and coffee kiosk...
Whilst typing this, the missus checked out the boat leader boards, and there is a few on level 100+ but no sign of three stars on any feed mills... One of the harder targets...

Hey John, you'll have to have a celebration when you get your stars! :D
I only just bought my second feed mill. I was rather surprised it built itself in no time as I've gotten used to waiting a couple of days for the latest machines. It was like an instant gift to open hehe. Now I'll have enough surplus to sell other peeps so they can revive their exhausted and dead looking animals. It'd take me years to get my mill masters
Sure will... Lol... A good tip for your feed mills is to rattle out loads of quickie cow and chicken stuff during the day, and put your longer sheep, pig, and goat stuff in just before you hit the sack... Really helps if you can have maximum amount of boxes mind...??? Not a great deal of profit to be made, but it sells in seconds, literally...
