Is there anyone out there who's fully mastered theirs, or will in the near future? I'm on level 39 so obviously I'm nowhere close (still about 200 hours away from second star), but in all the farms I've visited, I've never seen one with a star on the feed mills. I thought 840 was a lot for the second star and joked with someone about it being 2,000 for the third star. The joke was on me when I realized it's more than double that.

The feed mills mastery is very different to a lot of other masteries though. First of all they were added to the game on a different update then all the other masteries. The feed mills didn't have the mastery when the other machines got theirs. So players simply didn't have the same amount of time to work on them.
Unlike all the other masteries when you earn your first star on the feed mill the times are reduces slightly. The same applies to the second star. All the other masteries get the bonus coins and xp first before getting a reduced time. These reduced times on the 1st and 2nd star actually make it more difficult to get the hours for the third mastery.
There is also some good news.. Like the smelters the mastery for the feed mills are combined. So if you make 1 ten minute cow feed in both feed mills at the same time and they are finished after 10 minutes it will add 20 minutes towards the mastery. Since you have the 2nd star it's 2 9-minute cow feeds in this example which add 18 minutes.
Here's a tip to anyone wanting to come remotely close to feed mill mastery: Before you go to bed each night, fill each feed mill with goat feed. I have four slots open on both of mine and doing this adds 5 hours. When I get up the next day, I feed my goats and then sell the rest of the goat feed in my roadside shop.
6000 hours is about 8.5 months non stop ;)Quote:

That is not exactly right because there is 2 feed mills. If you run both for 1 hour non-stop at the same time it will add 2 hours towards the mastery because they are combined. Check my previous post where it's explained.Quote:
