Incorporating Clash in a busy schedule?...

So I got less than a month now until school starts and I of course want to focus on my studies while also playing COC. Currently I am sitting in Crystal 2 as a TH8 for farming and am wondering if it would be realistic to stay where I am when I will probably go from playing in long sessions to maybe a few very short ones. I am wondering, how do you guys incorporate clash in your daily routine? I will be in a ton of advanced classes and clubs and I have no clue how I will be able to play this game on the side at all... :(

barch collector raids whenever u have 5 mins of time

Gonna have to cut way back...school comes first. I would just put town hall outside and go down to maybe gold two. Quick collector raids when you have time. Barch or Bam.

To me, I would do a longer to build army, like B'linion, or Pekka Wizard (maybe even Golem)
so you can hit stronger base types and get more loot per raid. hopefully with fewer next fees/time...

Farm out the TH, since with the stronger army, you should be getting more wins per raid (and hopefully more loot too) if you aren't holding too much loot you should get snipped more than full on reso-raided.. should help keep your place a bit more.

24-28 B'loons and 40-50 Minions make for a fearsome air strike force..(esp if you have max lvl troops for that TH's lab level) just make sure you test the limits while you have time now; and know what bases are TOO big to take on..B'loons have their limits) Heal/Rage (2/1)

3Pekkas and some Wizards, and BK; can wreck a base too, but you need Archers or minions etc.. to attack the outer attack points to guide the pekkas more toward the center of the base to do the damage.. otherwise they run around the base attacking huts and camps and other less critical fodder.. Rage/Heal (2/1)

Something to think about anyhow..
Collect your resources every day before your shield runs out if you can. Raid when you can, and don't be afraid to ride out a shield or two..

do a few searches to find out what kinds of bases you can hit with your troops levels..(and which spells go best with them) learn to lure and kill the CC, and Royals..

With maxed mines, you can get your upgrades going while doing other stuff.

I empty mines and break my shield in the morning when I get up.
I empty mines and break my shield at noon, while eating.
I empty mines and break my shield in the bus coming from work.
I empty mines and break my shield in the evening.

It takes 5-10 minutes each time. Sometimes I even play an hour each night. I net around 1M a day. Sometimes 1.5M a day.

While you won't make lego walls with that, it's enough to continue the upgrades while doing other more important stuff (like school).

I suggest upgrading to TH9 or TH10 while on vacation. I jumped to TH10 on the 23rd of December. Best gift I ever had :)

Clan wars is a killer. It takes way too much attention. Either find a clan that don't do clan war or only once on the week-end. We do it twice over the week-end and my Sunday night is a complete waste.

It's something that can easily consume your life, so do your best to avoid that. Just focus on getting things like school and homework done first, then if you have free time hop on over to your imaginary clash world and have some fun raiding and upgrading. Remember, it is only a game :rolleyes:

Also, I agree, join a farming clan. Maybe you'll be free to war with your war clan on the weekends, if you still want to do wars. But there are guys in my clan that balance the game and work, and if they get busy at work, they just head to the feeder to take a break. Their clash accounts are in no way suffering, it's totally doable. This is just a game, not a full time job. If you come back after a couple days and have been raided a few times and your base is destroyed......luckily you built your base on an elixir ley line and your base rebuilds before your eyes! So work hard and keep your priorities straight and it all works out fine;)
