Is there a difference between the two? If you set it to just ground, does it do more damage?
I'm finally getting both of my x-bows completed tomorrow and I wanted to know if there is a reason for there to be 2 options to choose from.
And which do you recommend to use and why
both do the same damage, ground has about 60% more range though.
personally, i use ground only, and focused on upgrading my air defenses ASAP. This is because the majority of attacks against me are either barch, giants, or gowipe.
When I was a townhall 9, I had one set to ground, the other to both. As a th10 with infernos, I have them all set to air/ground.
There's a 3 tile difference in how far the xbow can shoot. It shoots a shorter difference when set to ground and air. I have mine set to air and ground to take out minions when they attack my base, it doesn't do much damage to dragons, but it all helps.
Check your air coverage (air mines, air defenses, wizard towers, teslas). Is it strong?
If yes, ground x-bows.
If no, air+ground x=bows.
There are two kinds of people in the world; smart people and people who put their xbows up. :p
Both of my Xbows are set to target ground troops only.
