Maybe so, but still, archers do the trick most times. I've not watched one replay yet where my attacker used lightening on my CC troop.

It may happen more often at higher levels?

What's your th level? You'll get Lightning all over your CC troops more often at higher cups (close to 2k) and TH8/9.

They have range and only take up 4 housing space. They also have more hit points than archers. The downside is accumulated training time

Th7, and only 1150 atm because I did that drop to 200 ... found it a mess so climbing back up slowly. Level 46, just. When do you recommend the jump to TH8?

She's actually pretty dumb on the attack too. I found that a bit surprising. Why have the AI so bad that she follows a lone archer, instead of the pack of giants that are getting bombarded right beside her?? I'm almost regretting upping my healer to level 2, let alone 3

It depends on how u use if u use on giants it will do effective but make sure they don't split off

Best has to be wiz, it is only a problem getting them if your not in a unity clan. Worst has to be healers or wallbreakers. As for the wizards, I have been attacked by a mass baloon raid, to have the wiz come out and destroy them all because they are bunched up.

I love to have Golems in CC for defence. I have centralized CC so if someone does get into the base the slow Golem will take massive damage while my mortars and Wiz towers do their job. I just got witches and a few clanmates seem to like them as CC defending troops, I havent tried them yet for defence.

Since most of my clannies don't have high level dark e troops yet, archers and minions do a pretty good job.

Wizards, level 5 are shockingly powerful, ohohho me and my corny jokes...
