Elixer

I've noticed on all my attacks it cost more in elixer to train troops than I can earn with an attack. Any reason to attack.

If your main army composition is of archers and barbarians, you can easily get more elixir than you lose. Look for Barch guides with the search function. Aside from that, using expensive troops like all dragons isn't good if you have a lack of elixir surplus

You're probably settling for bases with bad amount of elixir, or you're using an army composition that uses too much elixir. Use BArch.

I agree, go on a barching fest between 1450-1850 range. Fast troop comp and very effective if used with rage spells and heal spells.
