When you click on your clan castle and press clan and a list of your clan members comes up and then when you click on one of these members a list of options comes up, i think one of these options should be "donate" so you can donate to however you want when you want if they have space in their cc also you should be able to put settings on which types of units can be donated to you. This idea would take little effort for supercell to include.
that would be useful, when requesting only the troops you choose to accept could be lit up to clan mates donate.

My only concern with it is clan members who whine. We had one player who had no troops higher than level 3 but ALWAYS expected donations of level 5 or higher. (This player was kicked.) It would also prohibit some of the less advanced players from giving what they can so that they can earn the friend in need achievement. I might tweak this idea slightly to block certain types of donations. e.g. you can block people from giving you goblins instead of blocking clan members from giving you troops below level 4. Our clan does not have a problem with goblin donations, but this might be helpful in other clans. Of course all of this goes back to, "how happy are you with your clan and how much do they care about you?" If your clan is not being respectful... then it might be time to join a new clan.
