Any tips for killing CC troops without lightning such as:
barbarians
archers
wizards
dragons
Minions
hog riders
valkyries
witches
spell factory will be unusable for a few days, and I am a th7 who recently just got to lv7.
any tips for killing these guys without lightning? Or general tips for killing these guys?
Dragons are super easy to kill. Drop lots of archers or minions and don't stack them. Dragon kills one at a time while all your units brings it down.
Drop about 3 barbs to get all of the CC troops to come out. If there are buildings on the edges or buildings that are out of range of defenses, drop an archer there to draw the enemy away. If not, you can drop a single troop at the edge of the map and walk the enemy out. It may take several sacrificial troops to get them all grouped nicely together. When all the enemy is alone and isolated, surround it with archers (a few wizards work too) that are spaced out to avoid splash damage.
This works for whatever happens to be in the CC.
Edit: Don't do what Tydorstus wrote since Dragons do splash damage. He does have a cool sig though.
If it's archers, giants, or wizards, archers or valks will do. If it's witches, fight back with wizards and witches. If it's wallbreakers, use valks.
For barbs, archers, and wizards you can use a few troops to lure them so that they are all stacked together and then drop 2-3 barbs or archers to distract the troops and 1 wizard will kill them all in 1 hit.Quote:

Valks and witches are pretty difficult to take on at TH7 and I'm guessing you won't be seeing much of them, unless you're attacking very good bases in war. With a witch you should lure her to the corner and then wait for her minions to come out and attack her from the side where the minions aren't. With valks you just need to make a big ring of archers (keeping them spread out is very important).

All these suggestions are great in my opinion. That's the mystery of the clan castle, difficult to determine what jumps out. A few barbs and some wizards generally take our normal troops.
If it's a dragon, I've had a lot of success using the "barbarian kamikaze" as I like to call it. Lure the dragon to the corner then surround it with archers or wiz. As soon as the dragon starts to hammer down, release a barbarian that will run right under the dragon toward the base. The dragon turns around for the barbarian, giving wiz and archers a couple seconds to just wail on it without getting hit. Takes some practice, but works.
Healer in clan castle actually isn't that bad at low levels. The healer just goes around and heals the buildings. Would probably be OP if a TH4 or so had a level 4 healer in their castle since the low level troops couldn't keep up with the healer and defenses shooting at them at the same time.Quote:
