Hi, I've had this problem too before. I'm TH8 and been trying to max it out so i've stuck too farming around 1400 trophs. I suggest farming at TH8 because TH9 can be a huge pain. Try my main farming technique and let me know if you like it. Its very effective for getting 200kea for attacks. Very fast too make and wisely cheap
(I only use lighting strikes for dark storages while farming)

-5 Wall Breakers (Break a few walls to get too storages)
-2 Giants (Great for taking some hits or against teslas)
What to do: My favorite farming style, great for getting 50%. Spread archers around in a circle multiple times. Try not too bunch up or mortars will have a hayday. Giants are great for taking out teslas and tanking a bit. Wallbreakers are for storages mainly.

-60 Barbarians (good for taking hits)
What too do: Spread archers around for in a circle also, pair up minions away from air defenses and archer towers they can deal decent damage at any level and very useful. Barbs are perfect for taking some damage while archers deal it.
