Th8 attempting to farm...getting destroyed

The problem is that you are using a trophy base. Trophy base only protect your trophies and not resources. I suggest you use a farming base.

For your DE woes, get the heck outta G3 and G2...get up to 1950-2100 trophies and try your best to remain there. I stayed in C3 for my entire TH8 life and DE (both making and keeping) was NEVER a problem. Raid when you have extra trophies, and snipe back up if you start falling down the league.

Why won't you lose as much DE?

Everyone in C3 has 30k+ dark...so you'd be small potatoes and won't get raided specifically for your DE any more.

Why will you make more DE?

1) Because everyone has lots and 2) Every collector raids has 500+ DE...so no more core diving for DE storages. Think about it, 3 maxed L6 drills gives you 3600 DE...I find at least 2 of these a day. And the best part of that scenario is if that TH10 tries to revenge you he'll have a 50% loot penalty to deal with...he won't even bother.
