Hello everyone,
i heard about TH9s who can farm lots of DE in master leage with barch/bam.
As i am DE farming atm, i would like to know more about this. Maybe you can give me more information and tips or you know anyone who has expirience with this.
Keep in mind that i wont gem hero upgrade time so i dont have heroes available in the attacks.

Im a th9 hanging out at about 2650. My heroes are sissies so I've been trying to level them up, and have been upgrading one and using the other one as cleanup for my raids.Quote:

I've used barch a few times, and it does well. theangrywok is right. Barch at that lvl does not give you nearly the same return (time is your most precious commodity) as does balloonian. And I also use the same combo except I use 60 minions with 20 balloons sometimes, other times exactly the same as him. Less balloons make for quicker training time.
People I've seen farming with barch are in Champs/M1, and/or farming gold not DE and/or just pushing trophies.
In my experience in M3 / M2, as TH9 and TH10, b-arch is really hard and no good at all for consistently farming DE; BAM is worse as it's not as strong in terms of securing 50% (and you're gonna need to win most attacks, to stay in masters and also for the league bonus). All the bases you hear about in masters with their storages outside the walls... pretty much a myth, at least in M3/M2; up to 2900 it's basically TH10's farming and they do not want you getting their goodies...
16-20 balloons, the rest minions, and 1 spell on average, is a good farming army though - loads of collector raids in masters and plenty of level 6 de drills, you just have to perfect the art of getting to 50%.
the only way you could BARCH DE is if the base is a dead one. In which everything is in its collectors
I thank you for your help. I know about balloon-minion, but i dont like the long training time. Also if i fail one balloon attack its like failing 3 barch attacks.
So maybe some other people can help me with barch or bam in master leage, farming de.
