Experiences of a slightly premie TH
Hello everyone! To start off I always enjoy hopping on the forums when it's slow at work, so I am pretty up-to-date on most thoughts. That being said it's pretty obvious that one of the most controversial and talked about topics is when to upgrade your TH. Some say max everything, some say get close to maxing and others recommend whenever you feel like it. Well I am very impatient so I of course went into the premie role of a TH9.
And the adventure starts!
Before my TH finished I was able to max all of my storage's including DE so I was able to get my 2 x-bows and AQ immediately. My first thought on being a premie was look at all the shiny toys! And I was right! The game was all of a sudden much more enjoyable with a bunch of cool stuff to look forward to. Not just mindlessly grinding walls hour after hour. A sudden refreshment hit me. However, needless to say I quickly noticed the loot aspect of being a new TH9.
LOOT
The blood of the game. Everything revolves around resources so obviously keeping a constant, sufficient income is necessary. The most argued fact of being a Pre-TH9 is that your loot will be awful. You will not find any and you will lose much more. However I am sitting here ready to completely argue that fact. The first night of being upgraded I noticed something. I wasn't getting attacked. Why? Not because x-bows are magical and all mighty (*cough* inferno tower). Simply because of intimidation.
Now that I LOOKED menacing, despite maybe an overall DPS increase for 100+ I was no longer constantly getting attacked. Matter of fact. I made it several hours sitting on 2.5 mil+ without getting attacked.
To wrap it up. After jumping to the next TH I was making more and losing less. Do I still get beaten? Absolutely. But I am getting attacked a lot less simply because of one factor. Intimidation.
