What to upgrade next (TH10); and who is the better TH9?

Hello all. My clan, specifically me and a clan mate, got into an argument over what he (TH10) should upgrade next.

Here is his base (BIGHEAD). I told him to do walls with his 6mil gold saved up. He chose two teslas to lvl 6... I told him that that was possibly one of the worst choices he could have made, being that mortars, WT, AD (!!), IT, xbows could be considered more important. He went on a rant that 8mil is too much to save up for IT, yada yada yada... Anyway, what do you think his best choice would have been? (Also FYI: he has spent over $350 on gems, and apparently not wisely...)

We have been going back in forth in all of our recent Clan Wars, each of us bragging when we are in front of the other. So at this point in time, who is "better" than the other? Or maybe a better question, who is more developed than the other? Keep in mind that I, trevman1213, am currently ranked ahead of him in Clan War :D lol(Sorry for so much spacing, the pictures/text kept coming together)

THE COMPARISON BETWEEN BASES IS ONLY FOR THR TWO TH9s, NO THE TH10 AND TH9

Why is ur the base the pic of the th10?

I like his base better, but he is also th10 with extremely low walls, and farming at TH10 is rough when you are not prepared..I think you are the smarter player, but it all really depends on your attacks, he should be higher considering he has a TH ahead of you, and have the availability for higher troops.

I think you win overall.

He is not wrong,
on wars / th10 gameplay, tesla is better than mortars / WT and much better than walls...

this is because splash damage is only effective againts hodre of farming troops like barb-archers-goblins. They're useless againts strong troops used in wars like golems, pekkaa, dragons and heroes.

for th10 gameplay, walls is also not effective because you don't get farmed by barb archer anymore. Most of your enemy will use hogs or loons that ignore walls.

Tesla is one of the best defense for high level gameplay... maxed tesla out damage maxed xbows and they are very effective againts pekkaa.

for bases comparison, the th10 is stronger for now... it's because inferno rules all.
but yours will catch up too if you have those inferno

And sorry for the confusion, but the comparison between bases is for the two TH9s, not the TH10 and TH9.

he should have saved up for infernos, teslas are not that important at th10 because of the dps and fear factor.his decision to upgrade to th10 wasn't best for the clan as matchmaking system can match your clan against some clans that have more th10 with higher level infernos than your clan. your definitely better in terms of farming and the fact that you are a th behind but can still exchange ranking proves that you are stronger, only thing making him compete with you are that inferno, extra AT ,cannon and xbow but if his a strong farmer he will pull away from you
