Critique My 8 TH Village

Hey guys, haven't played COC for a while now but I'm just getting back into it. Never really played strategical but would like to get more serious with it. Attached is my level 8 TH village. I'm not sure if I should go for a defensive base or a farming one. Any insights/opinions are much appreciated!

Change your layout into a good farming base. Also, max everything before upgrading your TH.

i can agree, th 8 has some of the best farms, fastest farm, so should be easy to start working on those walls little, design is nice if you wanna keep it original.
But like stated up above, while your defense is behind your townhall id recommend a farming base also.

Whats worse signing on seeing you loose 4 cups, and only 1k each?
Or signing on and seeing you loose 4 cups and 200k each?

Switch to a farming base - look at clashofclansbuilder.com for ideas.
make sure your storages are in separate pockets.
put your th outside your base but in range of a few defences.
dont push your cups too high (like say gold 2) cus you will be farmed heavy if cups too high

move stronger walls to inside...upgrade ALL defenses

highly exposed storages and very close together. This is a raiders dream.

Upgrade those walls, and the funneling (if you are) is a bit weird .

Make a farming base and stay between gold 1 and 3 n go for resources only don't worry to much about trophies..n if u wanna push to crystal n higher at th 8 I'd keep the farming base..cause it increase the chance of getting th sniped and only loosing afew trophies instead of having th inside and them having to attack through stuff to get ur th..a th9 or 10 will beat a th8 any day of the week but if u keep the farming base with th out side hopefully a u will get sniped n only loose small amount of trophies

Thanks for all the feedback! So after doing a little bit of reading, I revised my base. I plan on building teslas next and upgrading all my walls.
