resource conversion? or spending balance
Hi,
This is my first time here.. and I dont know if this has been brought up...
you cant call me an 'experienced clasher' i recently maxed my th 7.... and im on my way through town hall 8..
a problem that i always find.. is that the Gold : Elixir spending ratio is really heavily weighted in the Gold favour...
I am currently pretty much maxed out on elixir with nothing to do, since all 4 of my builders are busy doing upgrades which cost gold...
my proposal?
Something, a building (only one unlockable) that is unlocked at th 6-7? that converts resources from one to the other.. of course this is going to kinda defeat the purpose of farming both resources, so here are a few things that can apply..
- Has a cool down, has to re charge for 2-3 days (gemmable)
- It only gives you like 50-75% of your original input (the wizards took a cut of the profit :P)
- There is a max amount of resources you can exchange, this increases as you upgrade it of course
- Maybe a 1 day wait per million? (gemmable of course)
- If you cancel, you get half of what you spent
I dont know if this could be made... or this is only a half decent idea in my eyes :) but i thought i might share the idea anyway... i also would like to say again that i have no idea if this has been brought up in the past, (i only recently made an account) :)
Another Alternative about the gold : elixir spending ratio at my current level at least..
so, at town hall 8 (from my knowledge)
gold is spent on : basically ALL defensive buildings and their upgrades... + damn walls -.-'
elixir is spent on : troop upgrades and barrack upgrades...
concluding.. that from what ive seen.. is that you spend a whole damn lot more on upgrading defenses with gold, rather than using elixir on anything... please correct me if i am wrong.
so, please balance it? at least let the walls be built with both elixir and gold (same price), because we all know walls are the biggest gold thief in this game..
Please discuss this! i dont know if my suggestions are realistic or not!
Cheers,
Josh
