A tip for those dark elixir zappers out there...

Hi! I hope you enjoyed the brief time you had my DE that you helped yourself to while sniping my town hall. You will know the revenge raid that took it all back (and then some) was me because i opened with a return DE zap of my own. Then i let you sit for 2 minutes wondering what was next. Of course you knew it was going to be bad because you saw the raid was 100% and cost you 40 trophies. Anyway, no hard feelings.

I get that i invite your kind of riffraff into my base by trading trophies for a shield, and if you cant hit my DE with a proper raid that L6 storage with 100,000 de must be pretty tempting to drop a shock spell or three onto. You might consider that shocking DE storage as a raiding strategy will incite some rage revenges from your victims, as most of us properly went into a base to get it. With this in mind i submit a few tips,

1. Spend the de right away, don't let 18,000 de sit around in your L2 storage when you go off line.
2. For that matter, do not have full elixir storages either, cause i get giddy when a revenge raid more than pays for itself
3. Same for gold, do not keep any on hand. Well, i don't really care about gold in these cases, but you will be a much smaller target if you are empty when i swing by to smite you.
4. The option to stick to the script and just have the town hall is always there too. Shoot, help yourself to a mine or pump as well, that is unlikely to bring me to your door.

Well darn, i guess this was fewer tips than i hoped for, perhaps others will add to this list of pointers!

Couldn't care less about losing 300 DE out of 100k on my storage. But if I leave you alone, it means I accept it. And I don't

I'll just wait for people like you to attack me and then leave all that DE in their storages and then I'll revenge lightning ;)

Go ahead and revenge me, I'm farming, I don't give two craps about a -40 loss. Take my other loot too, but too bad I don't care about that either considering I'm only DE farming.

So glad to see i am not the only one! I do this too, then when it goes, keep hitting revenge to keep base out of circulation till troops done!

If i rolled your base you may revenge me however you like. I am farming gold to finish lego walls in Low gold 1 and i have hit many bases doing so. If you are one of the many hundreds of TH8 or low TH 9 i have hit, sorry, thanks for the loot and shock away! Have my town hall while you are at it too!

as someone who is very guilty of DE zaps on occasion I recognize, accept, and even understand that a revenge attack is likely in my future. :) As a TH7, i needed the DE, and I was trying to quick boost my trophies via TH snipes so I could get to a better range. Once I got to gold III I stopped with the DE zaps. But I took DE where I could and when I could in Silver. Gold III is a much better range for REAL attacks and legit DE farming.
