Would like to suggest a random Global Phenomenon to add more "unpredictability" to the game. We can have a Random global event happening every few weeks or months. This "unpredictability" can also break stalemates in top clans and players, something that can't be planned for in advance. It can also force players to change tactics and mix units.
I've thought of some, you guys can add more.
- Abundance- increase chances of obstacles appearing thus more gems
- Alchemsts' Breakthrough- spells have +5% potency.
- Anarchy- significantly increase chances of "showing" a clan mate when you are searching for bases to loot. When anarchy is enabled, player and clan names are omitted.
- Artificers' season-damage from traps and defensive structures are increased by 5%
- Ash Fall- super volcanoes around the CoC world have been spewing ashes for sometime creating a thick layer of sediment over the battlefield, there is an x% chance of a trap not triggering for a whole battle.
- Brilliance- lab research times are decreased by 5%
- Call to arms- +5% damage increase on cc troops
- Chaos in the ranks- you are forced to deploy 5 distinct unit types when raiding or suffer troop penalties, can be tweaked to not affect players that still has low level raxes
- Corrosion- PEKKAs suffer 5% penalty in attack and HP for X# of days
- Cry of death- units have a 5% chance to revive at 10% hp
- Cthulhu- a massive ancient beast attacks a random village of a clan, if defeated, gives gold, elixir, and DE. If it raids your village, it gets a massive loot from your village and your builders are incapacitated for X# of days.
- Earthquakes- all structures, for X number of days, are at 95% HP
- Dragon storm- mating season for dragons, dragons build times are decreased by 20%
- Famine- all units, for X number of days, start at 90% HP (ANGELS CANT HEAL THEM TO 100%)
- Fog of War- all units have x% chances of missing per attack
- Gigantism- all GIANTS gets even BIGGER! They are now the size of the Barbarian King, during this time, they have +5% HP and Damage.
- Gloom- research times are increased by 5%
- Goblin Horde- all clans gets war declared by an ELITE GOBLIN CLAN (there are 10000 clans, each and every one of them gets declared by same amount of goblin clans). These GOBLIN clans are NPCs and are AI controlled and have template bases and unique to goblin units and by default are STRONG.
- Godsend- Healers at double the heal rate
- Harmony- the CoC world grew tired of endless wars and battles, your troops are less eager to fight for X number of days. FIND A MATCH fee is increased by 300%
- Jet Stream- can't deploy air units
- Lightning Storm- Hidden Tesla's have +5% increased damage for X# of days
- Madness- all attacking units have +5% damage
- Marksmanship- archers have +10% bonus attack damage and speed
- Meteorite- a meteor from the heavens lands near your village containing gems and dark elixir
- Pestilence- all collectors are at -10% rate
- Plague- all camps, for X number of days, are at 80% capacity max
- Torrential Rainfall- massive downpour from the skies for X# of day are causing units to move 5% slower than usual. AOE of lightning spells and hidden teslas are increased because of the conductivity of the rainfall.
- Resilience- all defending units have +5% HP
- Virility- all barracks training times are decreased by 5%
- Wrath of God- all units, in all barracks and CCs perishes

But it seems that it's just one event and not really a sustained global phenomenon.
