I am not suggesting lowering the loot percentage of DE on a regular attack, just adjustments to how much DE you can take using spells only. It should not be worth it.

The balance in the game is the loot penalty. If you are a town hall 7 with a lot of dark elixir, it is unlikely you will be lightning spelled by anyone other than town hall 7 because you can't store much and they can't take much.
If you are a town hall 8 with a lot of dark elixir, town hall 9 and 10 can't get much from you unless you are close to maxed. The complainers are town hall 9 and 10 people who are being lightning spelled by level 7 and 8, because they are farming. If you are farming, take what's coming to you. Or go up in trophies and level 7 and 8 people won't be there with the loot advantage.

No you are wrong, the complainers are clans that get lightening spelled multiple times in a row losing Dark Elixir every time because they are saving large amounts to upgrade troops or heros. There is no shield because not enough damage is done. Its a flaw in the game IMHO

Annnnnnnnd a nother anti-zap thread, acutally its an old one, so it just proves pro-zappers stance. Zapping DE is here to stay as far as we know it

smh 'its a part of the game' isn't a valid argument in a game which has updates (like this one, if you haven't figured it out yet). That statement doesn't mean anything at all, so just don't say anything next time

No one's opinion is right or wrong.. I can reply to whatever post is not locked, and the age of the OP doesn't prove anything. Everyone has to do "deal" with it. but, yes things do change... Th7 got a de drill. Th8 have 2 now. Whether you think its a flaw or not, its your opinion. I think Supercell has kept it intact because some people will combat it by purchasing the de and move on.

SC has kept it intact because it provides a counter measure for low level THs when a higher level TH sits in low leagues to farm them.

Zapping is only a problem for higher THs in lower leagues. Folks in higher leagues generally do not zap.
