Why is buying builders so looked down upon? I feel that more builders are mandatory for the serious Clash player. I mean I play more Clash of Clans than any other game. So you guys think spending some money on CoC is okay? I mean it is a free app to download!

Buying builders is not looked down upon (at least by me) for multiple reasons. First of all, as you said CoC is a free app and it wouldn't be that way without some people paying to keep it running. Second, I would gladly spend $60 on a console game that I would end up playing less than CoC. For those reasons, I consider gemmers as perfectly legitimate and respectable players.Quote:

Some people might look down on gemmers because they feel like it's unfair that someone is basically paying to win. However, there's also probably a large group of people who don't care because it doesn't directly affect them and some gemmers quit or are simply bad at defending/attacking since they used money instead of experience to get them there = easy bases to loot. Also they help pay for the game to keep running so I have no real reason to hate them
I'd be interested to know who 'looks down' on buying builders. The most efficient way to spend gems in this game.
Okay let me reword it a little bit. People look down upon "Spending Real Money" in Clash of Clans which most Clash players use "Real Money" to mainly buy builders. I mean spending $20 or so on CoC is so minuscule in my opinion. I mean $60 console games get played way less than Clash of Clans.lolQuote:

Also, given how damn good the game is and how long it has kept the interest of many clashers, you really owe it to SuperCell to pay a few bucks just as a way of paying them for the product.
How much do you pay for PS3 / PS4 games? How long do they keep your interest?
Answer is often you paid far more than clash and played far less than clash.
I'm happy to have contributed a few $$$ to SuperCell for the great game. I got 5 builders and a tonne of boosts for it as well. :)
