Hi all,
I am a new TH8 and built my drill just before the delightful gem boost. As a result I have a boosted level 1 drill. It has three and a half days of boost left.
Can I upgrade it to a level 2 and then reboost it or will it remember the time left on the boost and start up again once completed?
Never upgraded a boosted item like this just trying to maximize my production if I can.

When you upgrade, your current boost is gone.
If it finishes upgrading before the 1 gem deal is up, you can boost it for another 7 whole days for just 1 gem. I'm doing the same exact thing as a fresh TH8 also. Just finishing my drill lvl 3 and I'll boost again for 7 days.
Do this with your other collectors if they aren't maxed. Upgrade to remove the boost on August 6th, cancel upgrade, boost again for 7 days.
It looses the boost.
You can boost it again for the full 7 days for 1 gem as long as it is before Aug 7 which is when the 1-gem boost event ends
