Playing longer than someone gives you the right to dismiss someones opinion?

Hey guys so today in my clan a newbie ask for opinions on how his base could be improve so one of the members(TH7)gave him advice. Then a TH9 said how he can improve his base and told him to dismiss the other persons advice because he has only played for 5 months and the TH9 has played for a year. Then I told him that the amount of time you played for only determines just that the amount of time you played for. It does not give you superiority over other people that played for 2 months less than you nor does it mean you know more than them about the game. I mean like how would you feel if someone told you shut up because he has played for 3 more months than you yet has a worst base,GG,EE and HH but is superior only because he played for 3 more months. It seems to me that the people who played more think that their opinions matter more then anybody else's because their special and they played longer. I don't know if this is true but I'm pretty sure that doesn't give you the right to dismiss other people opinions or says yours is in anyway better. But I'm just curious on what you guys think on the subject?

True. Longer play time usually means more valuable experience, but not always the case. I know plenty of th10's that think they know more than anyone who is below a th10, but they are idiots. It's always funny to watch them fail in war and barely one star a th9. I usually just ignore what most people say in regards to strategy because I watch enough YouTube videos and read enough forums posts to know more about the game than anyone in my clan.

Yes exactly what I was thinking.

just play the way you wanna play, thats how you have fun.

If its a new player (I'm thinking th5 or lower) than a th9 is no better than a th7 for giving advice, they've both experienced it. And the th9 just kind of sounds like he was being a ♥♥♥♥ about it in order to feel superior which is a clear sign of douchebaggery.

what rank are you in the clan, and what rank are the other members? If you are a member, stay out of it. If you are an elder, if any of the involved are an elder or higher, stay out of it. If you are a co, if any of the involved are co or higher, stay out of it.


Still in it? I say it depends on the advice and what about.

I left the clan. And no if I feel likes something wrong I wouldn't just stay out of it. I would just tell them why I think their wrong. We were all elders.

A player that has played for over a year MAY know a few things or two..but that doesn't make him an expert. No one is.
