My CC holds 25 troops. In my CC I have a max lvl drag I got from a different clan. In the current clan they give me 5 gobs. I don't want to lose the drag but I do want to ditch the gobs. Can't go to the Goblin Villages to do that, so I'll just leave my current clan to empty 5 spaces and come back to let them get free XP in 20 minutes while I keep my max drag.

Exactly, not much of a point to this thread.

My group has two main clans and a war clan, which is only used for war.

Based on this system, people move between clans all the time.

They shouldn't lose their troops. However, they should keep their donations!

You're never going to stop hoppers. Why are you so worked up over them anyway?

If you're giving away your best troops to people who are leaving, that's your bad, not theirs.

Lol... There is a cool-down. There is nothing stopping people from doing that now, without leaving the clan, just by dumping them in the gob campaign.

There is a little better explanation.

Well besides the point that experience level is a nearly useless stat a simpler solution is limit how many times a player can join a clan each week. Say a player can only join a clan after leaving one for 7 days.

I've been in 3 clans in about 5 months. If I left a clan I would not just jump into another one right away. Makes a person think before joining a clan.

What's wrong with hoppers? They join, you give them troops and get a little extra XP, and they leave.

And your idea can be exploited, as stated above.

What about players who hop between different clans to talk to friends, or to visit different clans in the same "family."
