It makes me crazy when...

I go to a farm to water a plant and the dry plant is nowhere to be found. Many times after looking several times, I will find it completely surrounded by the same plants, but fully watered ones. Sometimes the needy plant will have only a few leaves shaking above the other plants, nearly always the needy plant will have its "!" sign completely obscured. So aggravating.

People! If you would just drag a hard-to-see plant out into the open, you would be doing us all a favor. Remember, we are doing YOU a favor by slowing down to water your plant, PLEASE return the favor by making your plant easy to find. You don't have to leave it there, spoiling your landscaping plan. It takes 2 seconds to drag it back!

(Big sigh of relief), that was good to get off my chest. Hard to find plants make me cuss, and I don't like to cuss when I'm doing something as much fun as Hay Day

I guess it really doesn't bother me if I can't find the one that needs watering, I just move on and let somebody else do it.
I used to move the trees but it was a bigger pain moving it waiting for somebody to water it than having to move it back. Plus my OCD won't let me have a tree that need watered out of place, somebody will find it eventually:rolleyes:.

I'm guilty.

If the tree is in the middle of a bunch of others, it's not easy to drag it out and then put it back. So I leave it. Someone always waters it eventually.

On the flip side...I don't get mad if I can't find a tree. I just assume it's a bug, and move on.

Also, some people intentionally hide plants that need to be watered, because they want a certain person to water them, not just anyone. If they're helping a neighbor get Green Thumb III, say. Or if they're having trouble connecting with a trade partner through FB or GC. If you can see someone's farm, but they can't see yours, you ask them to put out a tree to be watered. You water it, and they can follow you back to your farm through the last helper tab.

I've had to try multiple times on occasion, because the other person's followers kept watering the tree before I could.

Oh and I have noticed I have major glitches on my help tab. i can go to a farm that needs help and their name is gone from the help tab but it still shows they still need help on their farm. A few secs later their name reappears on the help tab, leave, come back start over. Now I pay a lot of attention to the help tab even when I'm on the farm.

Y'all must have a lower boiling point than I do, lol. You mentioned OCD, I have goal-obsession syndrome...(warning: not in the doctor's big book of official diagnoses). If I go to water a plant, by golly I'm not stopping til I find the darn thing! That's the reason for the cussing. Persistence can be a blessing or a curse.

In my neighborhood when we have a plant that needs reviving we announce it with a general location. As well as if there is one or several.
Back left, by the river, between the cow pens etc.
if a tree with a help sign isn't completely obvious to me I can't be bothered.
I make sure my help signs are visible and usually rotate all trees the same way. So there is not say, one sign out of 4 that is facing a different direction.
No, ok I'm not OCD. I appreciate it when others make their plants easy to water. I do the same.

I have apple and cherry trees that block most of my olive trees so if I need olive trees watered, I imagine it can be tough to find. So, I either:

1. move the tree out in front of everything or out in the open to make it easier
2. Change my RSS name to where the trees needing water are located ("Olive trees near mine")
3. Or leave the trees where they are and make a general path to follow by marking trees in front with help signs too.

I try and make it easy for others but I have a GC friend who has so many trees it can be difficult to find the one needing help. I don't mind searching though, it's quite fun. Sometimes I don't find it in time and sometimes I do. :) I am pretty excited when I do find it though.

Sometimes I think I'll make a special pen for trees or bushes on their penultimate growth. Sort of a retirement home for trees.
