Gowiwi makes me want to quit the game

Allow me to elaborate. I'm a nearly maxed TH8, nobody Gowiwi's me.

But I have had a crush on this game for some time and I'm good at it (somewhere around 29/30 stars in our last clan wars). But Gowiwi looks absolutely unbelievably boring. I liked the game at first because it was fairly easy to get better, now its ridiculously tedious to get better, I can usually 3* an opposing th9 even some good ones, ... I'd try to get really good (upgrade to TH9, go nuts on farming) but frankly...

3 wars ago I 3* a #1 that was a decent TH9 with balloonion, and lord it was close, I was down to my BK at the end. But I won. 10+ wars ago I 2* a th10 with balloonion and man... 2 of his air D's didn't cover the TH, and I killed the 2 that did and I had 2 minions pounding away on that monster but they killed it.. Close! Thats FUN!

but whats the point of Gowiwi, you watch these endorsed gemmed icons of the game on youtube and they constantly run gowiwi or gowipe who cares? They are literally not even trying to win, they are going for 2. Whats the fun in that? I'm somewhere around 24/24 possible in our last x wars, combined with my second account I've failed at one star in like literally many wars. Thats FUN. Going for 3 is FUN.

What on earth is the fun of GoWiWi? Going for 2? with $3k (real dollars) worth of heros? Half of you that run GoWiWi probably should have used that money for a decent car. You choose 2 stars over a decent car?

Well, th10s are not meant to be able to get 3 stared. How would you feel if you played for 1.5 years to max your base to th10 just to see it getting crushed time after time? You want to be able to 3 star a th10 with loonion? Or 2 star?

GoWiWi/GoWiPe or any similar variation is now the best way to get 3 stars (and you see it happened, but not just be any attacker on youtuber...). Hogs might get you 3 star too, if you find the right base to attack.

So if you are a good attacker, you'll be able to 3 star a maxed base with GoWiWi/GoWiPe/Hogs and they will be your best chance to get 3 stars, but it will be extremely hard and only few have the skill for that. That's the way the game suppose to be and I don't get why you complain about that.

What's no fun to you, might be fun to someone else.
Also, 3k might be nothing to some - be glad for that, they keep this game free for others.
Don't judge based on your opinion only, is all I'm trying to say.
Congrats on your wins, it is fun to be pitted against an even match and a fun challenge against a stronger match-up, even if one doesn't come out on top. The knack is, keeping that in sight.

And when you decide to stay, take a moment to say: guys, I was wrong about my skills, I'm sorry for calling everybody a gemmer, I'm sorry for going at gemmers for no reason, and I now know that GoWiWi can 3 star a base with proper placement, skill, timing and a bit of luck.

Ladies and Gents,

Even at a near maxed (except walls, DE troops (but I have lvl4 hogs and lvl3 minions) and lvl 3 PEKKA (pekka sucks))) TH8, this game has become very very tedious.

The skull walls look cool but aren't really any better than purple crystal (balloons, drags, and minions still fly over them, hogs jump over them, wall breakers still break them) and I'm only 70ish out of 225 at upgrading them. Its a ridiculously tedious task to upgrade walls. Oh and if I upgrade, I'll just have to farm like crazy at a significantly disadvantaged loot scale.

The only fun I have in the game now, sitting here boringly upgrading my pointless walls, is clan wars, and thats super fun. We are 20-1 in our last 21. But a won war buys me a whole skull wall. Yay. BTW those skull walls are a whole 500 points better than purple crystal. Yay. Still irrelevant to hogs/balloons/minions/dragons/wallbreakers/etc.

Gowiwi looks like no fun to me at all. I enjoy the videos from clash of clan attacks etc, very much, but what on earth is the fun of going for 2. What I love about the game is sweating out how I can get 3 on some TH9 not going for a "consistent 2" with Gowipemyarese .

And I'm soooooo sick of those videos. Seriously youtubers, make a vid to help a TH5 or 6. Enough with the godouche.

Its most fun to best an opponent you feel is maybe probably better than you.

I love the clan wars, i love to win them. However the rest of the game is now pointless to me. The simple cost of walls is beyond silly. Someone might spend (wait i'll look it up)

28 bucks for an archer queen. You could go to dinner for that. For that and one upgrade you could buy a PS4 game.

I like the social aspect of this game (as a relatively prominent person in my community I avoid facebook and etc like the plague) but seriously. For the cost of a lvl 40 hero you could get a decent car.

This game is the worst financial investment on earth. Whatever you pay for they will just nerf in the future. Its a short term business model, and flash forward 5 years and it'll be a joke, a joke about how much people spent on games like these. The whole point for SuperCell is to maim their best customers. Guys that just isn't a sustainable business model.

Your clans war matching rank is why you see it this way. In 6 months when your clan has a higher match making score you will see things differently or joing a higher level clan.

Wait, do you not realize that you can get her for free? Judging from your first post, claiming that GoWiWi costs too many gems, I must assume that you seemingly don't know that dark elixir can be gained for free, without the need of a monetary investment.
