Another "which one" question

Okay so, I am on level 46. I haven't bought either the jewelry maker or the coffee kiosk. I have managed, through neighbors, the paper and Tom, to acquire a small stock of each coffee type and jewelry type for any orders or friend that need them, or to sell to make some coins. I am at around 55k right now.

So my question is...which machine would you buy and why? Or would a smarter move be to keep building my money for when I am able to buy the candy machine? (Considering my daily dirt addiction, it might take me that long to acquire that much :) ) I do plan on getting all of them, I'm just trying to decide which to buy first as it takes me so long to make that much $$$.

Perhaps you should start selling more and buying less?:rolleyes: I think that what you should buy depends on what you like to do most. The coffee kiosk is useful for boats and the jewelry for truck orders and vouchers. Good luck with your decision!

I would definitely acquire the coffee kiosk (I'm gonna call mine Tomtoms coffee shop btw this really exists). Because boat can ask for coffee's. but truck orders ask for jewelry stuff and gives you vouchers.

In my opinion, they're both a big hassle. Both has pros and cons if you put them next to each other though.

Coffee kiosk require white sugar or cream in all recipes (hot chocolate needs both). Production time is 5-30 mins. Which means the machine will likely idle majority of the time as dairy and sugar is needed for many other products. However, if planned carefully, it is possible to save some cream and sugar daily to make some coffee drinks when needed. Jeweler on the other hand, is depending on metal bars and we all know metal bars takes a long time to make and each piece of jewelry will acquire 3-4 metal bars. Ore is also something that we can't produce ourselves like cream and year which only needs sugar cane and milk. However, if you're a person who mine regularly and can keep your smelters running, I would go for jeweler as truck orders on those will give us vouchers :D

I wish I could Isa! :) I hate selling my stuff cuz someone might need it, and I LOVE finding good stuff in the paper! I never start out looking for them...I go in looking for milk, or potatoes, and then woosh...my head is whirling my adrenaline is flowing, and my fingers are flying!!! :p

Right on, pink! I have such a hard time keeping up with cream and sugar. Even with two farms! :)

But how will you survive without all of my bars? :)

Then again completing a boat also give us a voucher and a lot of xp and wheel point towards an achievement. Like an easy boat I had the other day. 2 orders of raspberry mocha and the 3rd was raspberries. There is also the option to trash the jewellery orders and hope for bar orders or try to buy.

So basically in my opinion it's more a matter of which you would prefer to buy since both will be idle most of the time. Maybe I would even decide on which I think looks the best.

I would suggest Raindragon to combine that shopping addiction with earning cash... Buy cheap and sell at max.. LOL

I just can't bring myself to sell at max price. However I do go higher than default price, so I feel like it's fair for all. Yes, I do it backwards...I buy at max price and sell for less...or better yet...give it away. :rolleyes: Don't know...just my nature. Makes the game fun for me. But it definitely slows my progress for sure! Luckily I've got a lot of time on my hands and am happy just ambling along like I am. I'll get there someday. :)

I was wondering the exact same thing. Based on the fact that I am down to 1 of each mining tool ( :eek: ) and don't seem to be getting more at the rate I used to (those and axes - has anyone else noticed that?), I think I'm going to hold out for the coffee kiosk. I'm at $91,000 and level 39 right now, so hopefully I will be able to buy it as soon as it comes available.

You have a good point. Hm, I don't know. Their both meeeh machines that idle majority of the time. It's actually the 2 last machines I'm still working on for mastery (gave up on feed mill). I forgot about being able to do truck orders will metal bars because I never do them myself. Sorry for the ignorance lol! It's purely a personal preference I would say. I have to admit I do love those pretty pink mochas.
