TH Protection Incentives - currently flawed

The point of the TH exposed is for the free shield. More times than not, I get a free shield which prevents Mr Big from finding my base and destroying it. If you aren't seeing the benefit of free shields, either you have bad luck or you are doing it wrong. Perhaps you have a hybrid base?

Me, I keep my TH well undefended and put decorations around it as to tell potential TH snipers "Hey guy, it's safe here, take my 6 trophies and leave me a 12 hour shield, have a great day!"

Which works 80% of the time.

Even if you made it so someone could steal 20k, 30k? 50k? From my exposed TH, actually, that may be a wonderful thing!

I may actually support this now that I think about it. If a TH sniper can take up to 50k from sniping my TH, I'll gladly give him that much. A 12 hour shield is more than worth 50k and this gives TH more incentive to just TH snipe me!

Right now, all they get is 6-10 trophies and 1k of each. With your idea, they get an an extra 10-50k in loot just from TH sniping, more people will be satisfied with just sniping my TH.

I know its difficult for you to comprehend the game from any other aspect than your own, but not everyone has 2 inferno towers to babysit their storage. Other people gain a lot more from getting sniped the majority of the time instead of risking getting seriously raided. Nobody cares about trophies in lower levels so they have no problem with raiding all the gold they can and leaving at 35%. Most people are not going to choose the road of losing hundreds of thousands of resources a day by protecting their townhall. Its obvious that leaving your townhall outside is the better option which is why the majority of farmers do it.
