TH8 Bases- Which is Best?

Which is the best anti-hog base?

I say base 1, but I would switch the wizard towers and mortars because mortars have a slow rate of fire.

Anyone else think base number 1?

Or base 3?

Base #2 cuz u can put two giant bombs next to each other, which will exterminate the hogs when attacking, and especially that it has a pretty wide cc radius, and people are often hesitant when they see a base with a lot of space so they can't speculate where the traps are. Hope I helped u!!

Probably #2, CC is centralized and what Mohlem said, 2 giant bombs will destory them

I don't like base 1 because the castle isn't centralized and is lureable, so I would say either 2 or 3.

Number 1 is my personal favorite out of the three.

I like number 1 because it looks like a base that can defend from almost any type of attack.

test them all. anti hog bases might not be the way to go since most people who are somewhat serious about clan wars know they are nerfed. try finding a base that is good against most attacks and can flip/bomb hogs if they dare jump over your walls

number 3 uses traps best imo, plus it has the centralized cc.
also, it seems to be a larger base, which means it defends better against non-hog armies as well.

I have base 3 for clan wars and I got two starred by GoWipe.. I would have gotten three starred, but the attacker did not manage to kill the dragon in my clan castle so the dragon killed the pekkas and golems slowly, but surely. I think it is a great base, but one has to keep in mind that people bring the best of the best in clan wars so you are bound to get at least one starred.

I would have to say that base 1 is the best out of all the bases. I know that the clan castle is lurable because it is not centralized, but in order to centralize the clan castle, you need provide less protection for your town hall, which is not great in clan wars. If one is going to use base 1 in clan wars, one should switch the barbarian king with the dark elixir storage and switch the mortars with the wizard towers.

Im surprised you still get attacked by hogs. Every war since the update has been mass dragon.

Yup. ^ Everyone is using mass dragons at town hall 7 & 8 with rage or lightning. I personally use GoWipe or Giant-Healer-Wizard.

2 but make the trap placements better then the picture. Double up giant bombs to eliminate hogs, spread out air bombs for minions, spread out spring traps. CC looks good, hard to lure but not unlureable

Yea I was surprised last clan wars, I saw numerous hog attacks. Hogs are still alive and well, much to my surprise

The best Anti-Hog of these 3 is definitely the 2nd one. Well spread things and cc hard to lure.
