Checklist for clan war participants

Hey my names Justin, me and my clan mates have noticed that when we start a clan war we have to kick members out in order to get the right amount of people to raid. Instead of giving people the boot, couldn't there be a checklist of some sort that allowed us to choose our clan members who would like to be in the war? That way members who don't want in certain wars could stay out. I personally think it makes for better battles. What's your opinion on the subject?
