1 Gem Boost Question

1 - I have lvl 7 collectors and mines, what should i do? upgrade and then boost? or????

2 - why having maxed collectors and mines is a bad thing?

Boost them now, upgrade when the gem boost event has finished.

max collectors to max will double ur income. also you will get full level 8 wall from it in a year which is 104 millions. By the way, upgrading collectors is bad, but if you able to login everyday then it is not bad.

If I'm understanding the boost correctly, you can start the 7 day boost at any time between now and when the promotion is over, and the boost will last for 7 full days regardless of when you start it. So theoretically, to get the most out of your boost, you should be able to upgrade your mines and then boost.

And for #2... maxed mines/collectors is a bad thing? I don't think so. There's nothing wrong with having them maxed... the more coin the better... I think the reason a lot of people don't do it right away is because they don't want the loss of builder time. But once they're maxed, it's nothing but a benefit.

I agree, that's what's I'm going to do. Wait till the last day to boost my collectors. And all of my collectors are maxed so that makes it even better

it says until august 7, so if I've boosted now, can I boost again on the 7th for another week? It sounds like they've had this before, so maybe someone knows.

When they did this last year, you couldn't do 2 consecutive boosts. They must have the promotion on for EXACTLY 7 days (or maybe a few seconds less) just to make sure each person only gets 1 shot at it.

So, if the 1 gem boost started at 10am (my time zone, right after the maintenance update), it will end 7th 9:59am ? Not 7th 0:00am ? Not 7th 12:59pm ?

If it ended at 0:00 or 12:59 your time it wouldn't have been 7 days would it? It would have been a different length of time. Also I doubt that SC would make it so you can boost your mines/pumps twice.

Boost now.

JUST before the boost period ends, click to upgrade each mine and collector, cancel, then boost again for another 7 days. THEN upgrade them, or not..

That will maximise your loot from the 1 gem boosts.
