We all know a healer used as a clan castle reinforcement will heal buildings. So what happens if there's one goblin attacking a gold storage while a healer heals the building? Will the raider's total loot keep resetting? Or can he get infinite gold?
I haven't had the opportunity to try this because it is almost impossible to come by.
No infinite gold. The cap still applies.
That being said, I would guess (again, guess) that the goblin would keep stealing gold at the normal rate and would simply be unable to actually destroy the building. Eventually, all the gold should be stolen while the building could still have full health.
Healer heals HP. (period) Healer does not restore Gold. once the gold has been looted, it has been looted. it will start to restore once the attacker has left. (as it does normally) After the troops are gone if there is time on the counter, she will fly around and restore HP on Walls/Turrets/TH..
although it would be really nice to have a healer restore gold. they would be a more popular CC troop if this was the case. ;)
I've had a healer or two in my CC. I position my turrets to cover my collectors, and she keeps the HP going so they keep trying to destroy/steal, then they meet Mr.Mortar-5 and go buhbye! lolz

You cannot get infinite gold.
I think it works by that.... says there's 100k in there, and you kill it to ½ health, taking 50k when it's had 50% damage, but gets healed back to 100. Then the remaining 50k is divided up again...so were you to ½ kill it again, you only take 25k instead of another 50k. The rate at which you steal has been reduced...but you still steal gold with each hit.
The alternative would be that after it was healed, it would need to go below the lowest damage level (in this case <50%) to steal anything else.

If the storage is not full and it takes several hits from a goblin before it can get the loot then I believe your gold/elixir/DE is safe since the hp will not go down to that point. I believe the same principle applies if it's full. First few hits from gob will take the loot but since the hp will go back up, the goblin can no longer get the hp down to where it can get the loot again. Does that make sense?
